The purpose of our program is to service the families of our community to educate and equip the "Whole Child" to grow and develop in all areas of their lives. The pre-school years will hold great possibilities for learning and each day offers something new and surprising. We invite you to consider sharing these early years with us at Hadley Pre School.
Our buildings and yards were designed for the specific needs of the young child. We have over 10,000 square feet of indoor play space. Each classroom has an adjoining play yard that is equipped with play equipment appropriate to the students' motor development. Large shade trees and restful areas are available for quiet play.

Services
We believe a child's first school experience should be in a loving and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to develop their natural desire to learn. Our Pre-School provides an environment that is safe and conductive to positive exercise. Children ages 2 through Pre-Kindergarten assemble and play together while being guided toward a joyful, wholesome pre-school experience.
Our school is professionally staffed by individuals specializing in the education of the young child. We are exceedingly proud of our fine staff. Each staff member meets the state's educational requirements and higher standards set by the school. All staff members are trained in CPR and First Aid procedures.
Miss Cathy is our music teacher. The children attend music class on a weekly basis. Research has found that learning music facilitates learning other subjects and enhances skills that children inevitably use in other areas. Making music involves more than the voice or fingers playing an instrument; a child learning about music has to tap into multiple skill sets, often simultaneously.
The most important reason is that swimming is the only sport which can save your child's life. Drowning is still one of the most common causes of accidental death in children, so being able to swim is an essential and life-saving skill. Other reasons why your child should learn to swim: swimming is so much fun for people of all ages and children especially love getting into the water and enjoying themselves.
All medications must be brought in to the Pre-School Office in their original container. You must fill out and complete a Hadley School medication form before medication can be dispensed. All medication is dispensed from the school office, unless on a field trip. Prescription medication will be administered only if the medication is in its original container with a prescription label attached.

My children have been attending Hadley school for approximately 1 year. We transitioned from a different preschool and let me tell you It was night and day. Hadley has surpassed all my expectations. All the staff and teachers have made me super comfortable with my children in their care. Especially during the pandemic, they remained in line with following and implementing all CDC guidelines. They use an app to keep me updated on my kids. It is super user friendly and I love that I am able to see their activities throughout the day; in addition to knowing when they napped and if they ate their

I'm on doing 2 stars because they have a pool. Or else it would have been 1 star. My son is 2 years old for context. After reading the reviews it's clear they discriminate against children with disabilities. My son has a speech delay and was also labeled disruptive. When I spoke to the staff they stated they didn't know he had a speech delay when it was all over the paperwork I completed before his first day. The staff didn't even bother to look through his enrollment packet. From day one I was upset at the events that transpired. As soon as I dropped him off the staff did not

It's never easy leaving your child in the care of a stranger. From the moment we meet Miss Diane and toured the school, we were immediately comfortable and had the feeling of home. My son has been there for 1 year already. He started with Miss Rene and we absolutely love her!! She always treated and loved all the kids as her own. He has since moved up to the Preschool (4yo) class with Miss Melissa, and we love her just as much. My youngest son will be starting as soon as he turns 2 and we can't wait!!! You won't find a more loving, caring and educationally rich daycare/preschool

The school director, staff and instructors were friendly. The facility was clean and welcoming, but if your child does not adapt on the first day, expect them to be asked to leave the next day. Our three year old son, who has a speech delay and has received speech therapy through WCSD, attended this school for a day and a half. As another parent stated in their review, I was told that because he did not nap and was "disruptive" in class, it wasn't going to work out. It appears that Hadley School only has the resources for children who either adjust immediately to their environment

Read the other reviews and it made me feel like I was not overreacting.I took my son for a tour and the ladies in the office seemed really polite once we started the tour my son saw all the toys and started to play with them the lady giving me the tour started telling me maybe he has an attention problem and I should probably go check it out with a doctor. Obviously as soon as she told me that I knew this was not the place for my son.The lady with the red hair really needs to understand not all kids are the same some are a little more excitable than others and their is nothing wrong with that

This review is way overdue.....50 years to be exact. As a 3 year old child I attended Hadley Preschool. I still look back on my time there with very fond memories. Today, while looking at google earth, I was happy, and surprised to see that the pool is still there. It was because of this pool and the teachers who were willing to teach us, that I learned how to swim at 3 years old!! Back then we were also taught Spanish. Though I cannot attest to the staff that runs this school today, I can say with certainty that I had an awesome experience there and have never forgotten my time there. I even remember

My daughter started here 2 weeks ago and I couldn't be happier with our decision as Hadley for her preschool. She absolutely loves it, she's learning so much and everyone here is SO incredibly nice. They treat my daughter like family and they've known her by name since day 1. I was so surprised when within a week they knew that I was her mother so when i would walk in to pick her up they knew whose child to call in! Awesome school and the owner is so nice. I love that she takes the time to know the kids too. It's a huge plus that they have an open door policy and you can come

My son has been here in pre k since summer and I have never seen him flourish more. Hadley has been so welcoming, personal and caring. They work individually with children and keep parents informed and involved. My son has been in three different preschools band he's loved this one best. Every day is a different activity and keeps the kids excited for school and being a part of their activities. My sons also started writing his name trying to read and do much more academic prep for kindergarten. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for a personal caring touch on schooling I plan

I am very pissed off with this school, My son isn't even enrolled. I called to try and enroll my son who is 3! My son is not fully potty trained. She went on to tell me how by the age of 3 children need to be potty trained and etc basically talking down to me. I explained to her that my son has PDD which means he is delayed developmentally.I told her because my son has a disability he can't come here? He is just like every other child beside not being fully potty trained. She proceed to put e on hold and i just hung up the phone. How dare you talk down to me the mother of a wonderful child with

Lovely school. My husband and I LOVE the family-like school environment at Hadley. Everyone is very nice and my child is known by name not only by his teacher but also the Director (Miss Diane), the administrator (Patty) and other teachers.
They do a lot of field trips near the school year- round (fire station, park, musical at the local high school, etc), walks around the neighborhood & different activities during the Summer (i.e this past week they brought Hawaiian dancers to "teach" the kiddos their dances. That was a special treat for all the little ones who are into the Moana

I love their summer camp!!!! My kids have been going to the Girls Club for the past 7 summers. They split the girls from the boys and teach them very useful home ed; sewing, crochet, knitting, and lots of arts and crafts. Ms. Sam is great with the kids.
They also have a swimming pool on the premises and it's a great form for the kids to stay physically fit. The school is not cheap, but I definitely believe it's worth every penny. The kids also learn about money management and how to raise funds for activities they want to do. They go to the public library on a weekly basis, teaching

My son was kicked out of this school after 4hours for not napping when he was supposed to. This was his first time EVER at any school and they were told that. They assured me that they would work with him and help him get into a routine but they didn't. Instead I get a call to come get him and that it was not going to work out. The director compared my son to dog saying that he didn't react to the thunder like the other kids did. "your son is like a dog, some react to noise and some don't". I could not believe it. My husband picked my kids and said they did not refund everything

I had heard great things about this school and I was very disappointed. I read online review and heard reviews from 2 people so I was very excited for my son to attend this school. My son is 3 1/2 and this was his first time ever at school and he had never been at a day care. On his first day he was VERY happy and excited to be there. By approximately 11a.m. I got a call from the director telling me that I needed to come pick up my son because he was not acclimating well. She mentioned that he would not nap(his first time at school, not used to timed naps), he would not stay on his nap mat for

My daughter was attending hadley pre school on a temporary basis for 1yr .she was on a waiting list for another school that was closer to my job. Well she was there I was very pleased with how the teachers loved and cared for her. She came home every day with new art work and a daily report which listed her nap time and the time she ate food . in the summer she enjoyed swimming in the pool. I will cherish the moments my daughter spent there. I will miss all the teachers there
