My interest in photography began at 20 when I purchased a Canon AE-1 and evolved over time. Initially, I concentrated on landscapes, however once I became a father I began photographing family and sports. Eventually what started as a casual hobby developed into a passion and a creative outlet that has given me the ability to express myself in new ways.
Photography taught me to slow down and be observant, to live in the present and enjoy what was always right in front of my eyes. JDHallett Photography was established in 2017 serving Conroe, The Woodlands and the Greater Houston area. We offer portraits, headshots, commercial and event photography.

There are no words fitting to describe John and his work. If there was 7 stars I'd give him. My family needed photos that would include my wife's graduation photos and it happened to be during Christmas holidays. John was busy like all other photographers but he willingly went outside his schedule, came to our home and transformed it to a high-end Studio with his ultra modern equipment. The photos that came out were of the exceptional high quality. He patiently took photos of my family, allowed us time to go change our clothes and take some more, just off the charts services.

What a wonderful person! I really do not like having my photo taken but he did an excellent job. He took the time to make me feel at ease and smile a real smile instead of a fake photo smile. He took several shots and allowed me to choose the one I liked best and then he retouched it to look amazing. It is the best photo taken of me in 20 years! I LOVE it and recommend to everyone looking for a photographer to use JDHallett! Truly a great person and business!

Photographer was so nice and very helpful making sure I was happy with each shot. He took the time to make sure all details were perfect to ensure that the best results would be achieved. I was also able to see my proofs later the same day! Awesome experience and I would definitely use and recommend him.
