Since 1997 Jesse Dutra has been providing creativity, quality and sustainability landscape design, construction and maintenance to the Nantucket Community. In 2005, after seeing a need for a reliable pool professional on Nantucket, he expanded the business and Waterscapes by Jesse Dutra was born. The company has since gained a national reputation as an innovative Waterscapes Design/Builder for the Nantucket home and beyond.
3D CONCEPTUAL DESIGNS enable clients to visualize and have a sense of scale for the final project at any angle of their home. We also incorporate elements of detail including furniture and lighting placement for the final touches that are always important. Our horticulturists can also select the best plant choices and place them within the 3D Conceptual giving our clients a complete feel for the project.
Waterscapes is Nantucket's local swimming pool and landscape contractor. Jesse Dutra has been in business here since 1997 and is a year-round resident with a family and home on Nantucket. Jesse Dutra, his wife (and best friend) Hadley, along with their three children, Jesse's four sisters, Jesse's Dad and Hadley's sister and brother-in-law. These folks all love Nantucket! You could say they have a presence here. Jesse washed ashore from Westport, MA in 1994 and has lived on Nantucket for over 23 years.
There has been a tremendous value in becoming a member of these different boards and associations that has allowed Waterscapes to become a innovative leader in the pool and landscape industry. BioNova originated in Germany and teaches the technology for the European Natural Swimming Pool based on the European FFL standards.

Don't use Jesse Dutra and Waterscapes. He does not operate in good faith. We were advised not to use him and we didn't listen. He over charges and keeps raising the price with hidden costs.
After you pay him, he ghosts you. Our pool costs $400,000 and he owes us $1000 back. He refuses to respond. It's pretty pathetic. There are more honest and skilled pool designers on Nantucket.

Waterscapes and Jessie Dutta is the best period. He is brilliant and cares about his clients and his pools. To this day, he personally checks in with me and looks in on the the pool. In the pool business he is one of the most professional, knowledgeable people I have ever met. I am so happy that I used them in the creation and build of my pool on Nantucket. They are a role model for all of those in the pool industry. I strongly advise that everyone who reads this obtains his services asap, before he is booked solid for the year. He is the best.
