Life is full of opportunities to show someone we love them. One such opportunity is the funeral or memorial service. Such a loving event celebrates the choices they made, the relationship you shared, and honors the memory of your loved one. Our funeral directors and staff are here to offer guidance and address your questions and concerns about the funeral process during a most difficult time.
Our service professionals work together to minimize confusion and maximize understanding so families can make informed choices. When a loved one passes away, it's always emotional-in some cases traumatic. And yet, there's not always time to sit and to grieve, at least not at first. There are a lot of practical matters that you have to attend to, and decisions you must make, to ensure a proper memorial service and burial.
Raised in Somerville, Lauren attended Somerville High School and graduated from Dime Box High School in 2007. Lauren suffered from juvenile rheumatoid arthritis beginning at. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. with the Holy Rosary being Recited at 7:00 p.m. at Strickland Funeral Home in Caldwell.
As part of a meaningful celebration of life, family and friends may wish to gather for a special time of remembrance with a balloon release. Releasing balloons helps us say goodbye in a unique way, allowing us to experience greater closure and healing as we "release" our emotions and grief. To make it more personal, write messages of hope and love on the balloons before releasing them.
Different families express grief uniquely, and every person has varying wishes for their own remembrances. Thankfully, there are funeral arrangements to suit just about anyone and it is entirely possible to record any future wishes through a pre-arrangment conference. We plan for our children's education, our retirement, and even our vacations.

On March 21st, an email by a family member
was sent concerning an issue of burying my husband's ashes to Legacy Funeral Group, the new owners of Strickland Funeral Home in Somerville Tx. The issue had been started before Legacy bought Stricklands, so they had no idea there was a problem.
Legacy's management, represented by Ryan Stephens, immediately took my problem and solved it!!! Ryan Stephens was VERY professional and caring! He took it upon himself to inter the remains and assist in sealing the gravesite.
I can not express my gratitude enough! He brought closer for my family within 3 days
