We have had Tammy Trussell as our property manager for our current residence that we are tenants at for more than 3 years. I can speak only positive things about her and EHomes. Tammy was alway attentive, sweet, considerate and timely in her communication. We found her to be highly professional and supportive of her tenants while still maintaining the needs of the property owner. EHomes has a great portal site that allows us to pay rent online and submit maintenance requests. Tammy and her team were alway prompt to respond. The home she managed recently sold and to our dismay the new owners have

As you all know it is a very difficult time to find a place to live, during COVID slim pickings. BEWARE OF EHomes of Bakersfield 5500 Ming Ave Ste 380, Bakersfield, CA 93309. They will gladly take the $35 “processing fee” and will definitely not contact you in anyway if you have or have not qualified for what you applied for. They won’t even answer the phone. There are literally 10’s if not hundreds of families looking for a place to live right now. You do the math $35 x 10 or 20 and so on everyday. I tell you what though, I’m pretty sure lunch is on us everyday, a day out on the golf

Hey Natural Thrive. I had the same experience with them. Zero communication on there part. If you call the office, there is no answer and the message box is full all the time. If you call bob he says he will answer all messages within 24 hours. I left him a message 3 days in a row, still no call. Most respectable property management companies only except 2 applications per property.

Our property manager takes weeks, sometimes months, to address our maintenance requests and any other concern regarding the property we rent. We email, call his cell, AND call the office secretary and STILL are ignored. Secretary repeatedly forwards me to my property manager's extension instead of speaking with me directly. I had to call with a DIFFERENT number JUST to reach the office so that the secretary would answer the phone.
We have rented with other companies before and have NEVER been treated this poorly.

I have put in numerous maintenance requests that have been cancelled. I have 2 major leaks in bedrooms. Roof needs to be done many things needs to be replaced and repaired and nothing is done. The realtor who handles my property was extremely rude and professional to me. I just ask for understanding and compassion. During this pandemic in spite of being unemployed and struggling we made every effort to pay our rent. Inspite of renting from a slum Lord. I just advise renting from someone else.

There are many rental agencies in town that will happily take care of your needs. EHomes is not one. We have rented a home from them in 2016 and still currently occupy.
In short, we have two rooms with active leaks for the past years...other maintenance requests have fell on dead ears. Janie at EHomes in the beginning was pleasant. Over time, she has become hostile and will not assist with the issues we are facing.
Whoever owns this company is shameful. I am sure everybody may not have this issue, but this is my family's account.

This company has gone downhill. Managed several properties for us but lately their communication has been really poor. They don't answer emails or requests 50% of the time. I chose to sell sell two of my properties to exchange for other properties and they canceled all of our properties in what was literally a tantrum thrown by the owner of this company. Then after they have the nerve to charge me their full management fees for the month even though they canceled on the 5th of the month. Very unprofessional company. Look elsewhere, they have gone downhill.

Billed for broken windows that were there when we moved in, the landscaping and removal of a fence that was already there, super nasty carpet, all there when we moved in. We went over 30 days without cooling last summer and still paid the rent for some reason. The wall heater would leak gas into the home and was extremely dangerous, I couldn't even leave it on all night for fear my family would not wake up. Tried to get approval for repairs but total lack of communication caused that to fall through. EHomes is a slumlord rental company that manages filthy homes. Notice the cookie cutter responses

Never returned my security deposit. The home was infested with rats, little to no communication. I would put in maintenance request only to have it ignored for months and when they finally did send someone out to fix the problem Ehomes wouldn't authorize major defects such as: Rats living in the walls, broken plumbing under the house (which I had verified via an independent plumbing company via drain camera snake), a broken security gate and door to the back which allowed the home to be robbed (to which I had a maintenance request in 2 weeks before, the back door was unsecure the entire rental
