He is knowledgeable and passionate. He started as an installer in his teens, but decided he wanted to serve his country while he could.

I have likely submitted a review previously, I just had such a great experience yesterday that I wanted to add to what has been said. Welzig has been our go to HVAC company for about ten years. Our experience has been that their technicians start at "good" and only get better from there. When it is a newer tech I feel that they have a lot to live up to, but the training that Welzig uses must work because even the couple of newer people have met the standard I expect.

While the service was prompt and professional, it's very unfortunate that Welzig has decided to charge an exorbitant amount for R22 coolant. On eBay it ranges from $25-35 per pound. I was charged $150-200 per pound. The tech made sure to justify the cost by bringing up the scarcity of R22, which was not exactly honest. Paid almost $800 for what took the technician literally 5 minutes to do. I know we all know need to make a buck, but damn Welzig! That is straight up robbery. I highly recommend people go elsewhere for hvac help.

I was very grateful that Bob Chrisley at Welzig was able to promptly come diagnose and fix a complex problem with our furnace. Our furnace started to fail right before a giant snow storm! Bob was very professional and courteous and was able to succinctly explain the problem that he fixed. Highly recommend Welzig.
