Services
Success Physical Therapy offers comprehensive physical therapy evaluation and treatment for women of all ages and activity levels. We are sensitive to the unique nature of your symptoms and work with an extensive referral network to ensure comprehensive care. We will work with you to create an individualized plan based on your goals, and are highly trained in treating a variety of bowel, bladder and pelvic disorders.
Pediatric voiding dysfunction in children occurs when the pelvic floor muscles (PFM) are not working together with the bladder and/or bowel, and the normal voiding or emptying reflexes are disrupted. Children may develop a chronic abnormal pattern of elimination, which does not allow the bladder or bowel to empty completely.
As an runner and endurance sport competitor for many years, Diana is familiar with the training regimes and workout stress of runners, cyclists, swimmers, and multi-event athletes. Diana has strong skills in assessment and identification of subtle compensatory movement patterns that can occur as result of overuse training.
As a physical therapist, I am committed to the education of my patients and the community regarding the benefits of physical therapy and wellness. Since beginning my work in the areas of women's health and pelvic floor physical therapy, peers and colleagues have encouraged me to give lectures on topics related to pelvic floor dysfunction, bowel and bladder management, and pregnancy wellness.
Each patient is seen for an initial evaluation (60-90 minutes), followed by one-on-one treatment sessions as indicated; my goal is to help you reach your goals. Examinations, manual (hands-on) therapy, and pelvic muscle techniques are performed in private treatment rooms. Exercises may be performed privately in a treatment room or in the gym area, based on each patients' comfort level.
