My job and personal life are interconnected in that my patients are people I choose to be around. I have a great life! In order to become a dentist, I attended the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, graduating in 1990. I have been practicing dentistry for more than 20 years, and am currently the forensic dentist for Tulare County.
Building a foundation of trust by treating our patients as special individuals is vital to our success. We understand how uneasy some patients may feel about their dental visits, and how we can make a difference in providing a relaxing and positive experience. Our entire team is dedicated to providing you with excellent, personalized care and service to make your visits as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks, money orders, and most major credit cards. Payment is expected at the time services are performed. Feel free to contact our office if your treatment plan requires more comprehensive dental work and you want to discuss financial arrangements. We accept most traditional insurance plans.
Printing them, filling them out and bringing them with you will allow us to attend to your medical needs more quickly than completing them on your arrival. This business stole $850 from us. We were unsure if we wanted to do anesthesia, but they told us on the phone as long as we cancelled within 3 days we could get a refund. We call weeks in advance and they now say they will absolutely not issue a refund, that it's in the paperwork we signed.
So because we signed a paper and overlooked that, it's okay to lie to us on the phone? I'm utterly shocked that a 'professional' business would do this, it's very scammy and says a lot about the integrity of the business that they are okay with lying over the phone and stealing

5 months later... my mom still has no teeth. Diabetic Type 1, Seizures, Extreme Anxiety, Depression disorder. Her gums are bleeding every day. She saw a dentist in Porterville she said she has to go back to Barnes ASAP to have the bones shaved. I called Dr. Bunnell's office it's not just one procedure it's two.
Called Dentical to ask why the auth wasn't approved, they said if they would've had the supporting documents stating my moms medical diagnosis it would've been approved the first time.
I called to let the surgery coordinators know. Laura was helpful however

From the first appointment to my mom's dental surgery, this office went above and beyond. The staff was amazing and Dr. Barnes was also amazing. they called to follow up with me after my mom's Surgery and their head nurse, Cheryl is the absolute sweetest! Mom's appt went so fast and we were home within hours. For my next dental appt, I will be going here. That means something because we live in lemoore but I don't mind the travel at all, that's how awesome this office is. ∆

When I saw Dr. Barnes for dental work, he insisted my lower front teeth were "too short." He said, "I want to extend your gum line." I was 42 years of age. "Extending" a gum line sounds like the gum line will be moved up, not down. What happened next is my gum line was cut away, exposing the dentin.
I am now 61 years old and the exposed dentin has begun to decay and discolor. Fortunately, I have flossed over the years and do not have gingivitis or gum retraction because if that were the case, my lower front teeth would literally fall right out. I had a tooth

Called this place for basic questions. The person at the other end was rude and completely unprofessional. The receptionist gave me a number to call when i called the call was forwarded back to her. The receptionist then got mad at me for doing what she asked me to do. (Because the call was forwarded back to her she grew even more upset. ) Definitely not dealing with these individuals they're not the only place on this earth. I highly suggest you stay away from any negative places such as this one.

If you are a family member or a client of a special needs individual do not go here they make you do so much extra paperwork to just cancel on you the day prior or day of. it's ridiculous that the care is compromised due to a date on a paper I'm appalled. Never again will I suggest not go here don't waste the 10 trips back n forth to them cause they lost a paper or someone forgot to tell the patient they needed this form etc not worth the stress

My son (age 5) has had dental work done at Barnes Dental Surgery Center two times, and both experiences were great. He was treated both times by Dr. Thomas and Dr. Fisher. Both the doctors and nurse were very kind, answered all of my questions, and thoroughly explained the treatment my son was receiving. My son was extremely nervous going in, but our exceptional nurse and the doctors made him feel much more at ease.

Barnes Dental Surgery Center Associates, Beyond helped me and my family on meeting our needs. I went in on Friday December 11, to fill out paperwork for my family and walked out with an appointment that same day with our appointment date that following Monday December 14, I super Appreciate all they did for may family. They staff members in the front office worked together as a team to meet my needs and answer my questions, and the amazing staff in the back that works with prepping the patients. They worked vary professional on explaining to me how the procedure works when they prepare each step
