The Bend Karate Club strives to maintain and preserve Shotokan Karate-do as a traditional martial art. We practice budo style Shotokan Karate using the 3 core training concepts of Kata, Kihon, and Kumite. Through humility and continued study, we will continue to develop and refine techniques using good body mechanics.
The challenges we face and struggles we overcome in the dojo help us to become better people. We train on a wood floor that has plenty of room for classes. Mirrors are placed on each side of the dojo so that the students can study their stances and movements along with hand railing for assisting in training kicks.

Traditional Shotokan Karate. I like the people. I went in to see if Karate could help me recover from an injury, and stayed because it has done that and a lot more. The place is clean, the training is challenging and the atmosphere is healthy.
There's a class available through COCC, and open classes Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Check out their website and talk to Allan.
I really like this place.
