We practice it as a profession, recognize it in our guest, and embrace it in the world we live in. So began the love story of Joseph and Stephanie Borras who own two salons in Tallahassee.
In 2010, Joe's daughter Tiffany was attending the AVEDA institute when she suggested that her father go on a date with her instructor, Stephanie. Neither Joe nor Stephanie was interested but Tiffany persisted in playing matchmaker by making her father come in for one of the pedicures she was required to perform before graduation.

Our team at Soleil 7 understands that unexpected events and challenges happen in life and know that not every appointment can be attended. With that being said, we ask that you please give at least a 24 hour notice should you need to cancel or reschedule. Our team gives their all to make you look and feel beautiful from the inside out.
Our haircuts include an individual thorough Consultation, rejuvenating Scalp and Neck Massage, Shampoo and Conditioning experience, and a Blowout. Create a whole new look for your hair with texture or a dynamic color, or make a subtle change by adding highlights. Experience the AVEDA difference. Our Soleil 7 Wedding Team is committed to making your Wedding Day Experience the absolute best of the best. We offer in-Salon Services as well as the option of going on-site to the Venue or Hotel for your convenience. Individual Consultations with our Wedding Team Stylists and Makeup Artists are available at no charge.
Having been a stylist for 18 years, Stephanie brings her enthusiasm, passion, and drive for the hair industry to Soleil 7 Hair Salon. When asked by guests and students if she favors hair cutting or hair coloring her response is both. Stephanie feels that haircutting as well as coloring can forever change how a guest feels and how they view themselves.

The haircut and style were good, but I feel like I was taken advantage of. When I called and scheduled my appointment I was told $40. When I got to the appointment and sat in the chair they told me $50. By the time I was ready to pay they told me $70. At no time during the haircut did they tell me about extra costs nor did I ask for anything extra. They need to be upfront about costs and communicate with the client. I will not return.

This was my second time. I thought it was expensive the first time but this last visit it was actually just as bad. The stylist couldn't reproduce the hairstyle SHE gave me 7 wks before! Cut way to short one side much shorter and thinned out. She also told the scheduler Not to put any perms on her schedule cause she didn't do them. She is young but she needs more practice .She said her last perm got up midway and left. I will not return or recommend.

I received a full shampoo along with a lovely neck massage prior to my haircut. I have long thick wavy hair and Hannah was able to enhance my natural wave with her skillful cut. I was seen on time and did not feel pressured into purchasing products however I did purchase the Phomollient and I highly recommend it. Give Hannah a try you will not be disappointed!

I've always had a great experience at Soleil 7. I've worked with several different stylists, and they've all done a great job. The staff are professional and friendly, and it's easy to schedule an appointment at times that work for me. Most recently, I worked with Hannah, and she helped me do a big cut. She was patient in helping me figure out what I needed for my hair, did a great cut and style, and was nice to talk to.

Maria did not know what a hell she's doing !!! I went in for a full hair color change and she did not know what to do !! She kept on asking other hair stylist which she had more experience and she knew what she was doing . I would not recommend Maria as your hair stylist at all !!! She should not be near any hair salon !!!

Hired this salon to come to our wedding venue in Thomasville, GA this past weekend for hair and make up for the MOG, aunts, cousins and grandmother of the groom. They did an AMAZING job on all 10 of us. We are an incredibly difficult bunch to please and overly picky. EVERYONE was beyond happy with the results. The girls were so much fun, accommodating, professional and were able to meet every look requested. Cannot express our gratitude enough!!

For about $60 (as a model, not customer), my hair came out great and I was very pleased with the information that was explained to me as the service continued. This is an awesome hair salon. They are always very welcoming and the hair stylists are very skilled. I have waist long thick werewolf hair and they were able to manage it. 😂 They use aveda products which uses natural ingredients such as herbs, fruits, etc. They also cut children’s hair. I was amazed to see how patient Isabella was with my 3 year old son. We will be definitely coming back!

I am so happy with my experience here! I had to miss work after an at home hair catastrophe left me with orange, yellow, coppery hair. It was awful. I was on the verge of tears because nowhere had availability and I could NOT go to work like that. I called this place and the girl said "Oh honey please just come here we'll take care of you!" It was welcoming and they sat me in the chair right away. The price was great compared to similar salons and it was peaceful and relaxing. For the first time in my life, a guy did my hair, Zach. He did wonderful especially given the hair he had to start with

Jaclyn is detailed, professional, kind and caring. 5 stars +!!! She takes her time and listens carefully. It is obvious how much she cares about your experience at the salon. She makes wonderful suggestions and is very considerate. She spends times to ensure you get the cut and color you want. She is also very creative!

My experience with Angela was fabulous. She knew exactly what my hair needed to get it back to ashy blonde, fixed my roots , brassyness and previous bad hair color (From a different salon), blended everything beautifully and I left feeling so fresh and ready to take on the day. She was great, answered all my questions and gave me really helpful suggestions for keeping my hair healthy.
Was a nice atmosphere as well, just felt good to be pampered in a beautiful place.

I am extremely disappointed with my overall experience with Soleil 7. I have spent a large sum of money for my hair to look incredibly messy, streaky, crusty and dry. I originally came in for a hair cut and color service. Due to the color i currently had in my hair, the stylists told me they could not possibly even try to give me the color I wanted. I said sure and just went along with a full cover up. At the end, my hair ended up being uneven and very streaky with remains of the past color very obviously showing. The stylist sent me home with hair dye in one spot of my hair to try to cover it

I love Soleil 7! After having to part ways with my favorite Aveda salon in Jacksonville, Soleil 7 was the answer to my prayers. The experience is luxurious and relaxing whether you come in for a salon treatment or for a massage (only at the market square location). I have always had a great haircut here, and the fact that shampoo and blowout are included is great! Prices are fair and depend on the hairdresser. While employees will recommend you Aveda products to try, there is no hard sell or push to purchase. I always have great conversation with the employees and leave feeling refreshed and beautiful

I can't describe how amazing my experience was and how much I recommend them! I called early in the morning and they had a cancellation so they were able to see me within 30 minutes. The stylist Hannah listened to all my concerns, thoughts, and questions with patience and understanding. She transformed my hair from rib cage to collar bone and I left with great hair and even better confidence! Thank you guys so much!!

I booked with Soleil 7 for my wedding in October 2019 and I can not say enough positive things. Courtney the Salon Manager was extremely helpful and understanding in helping pick a stylist for myself and bridesmaids. She sent over photos of their work after describing her what type of look I was going for and Wynona (who works at the other location) was the perfect fit. For my trial she Wynona was extremely friendly, welcoming, and made me absolutely comfortable. She was truly a joy to be around for the trial and the day of the wedding. I'm in town for a few days and needed a salon that could save my damaged hair without costing a fortune. After going through reviews, I decided to call and book an appt. the customer service was great and I was taken into care by Lori. I got a hair treatment that left my hair feeling great and a hair trim. She gave me a consultation to verify what I wanted. Loved it.

5 stars all the way! Tiffany was fantastic. When I described the type of layers I wanted she immediately took out her phone and searched IG and Pinterest for images to confirm she knew what I wanted which was awesome because the place I'd been going could never get it right.
The neck/scalp massage was heavenly and the salon itself is very chic modern, not like the sorority-style tacky decor of other places in town. They even have a 2-week guarantee that if there's something that needs fixed they'll do it for free. I don't know any other salon that has that.

Lovely shop, and such sweet employees! The girl at the front desk was so friendly and nice, asking if I needed anything to drink before I got started.
Lori was my stylist, and she made sure I got exactly what I wanted before she started. She even suffered through my horror stories of haircuts past but this is not one of those stories! I will be back 100%, and don't forget to tip your stylist! The entire experience was relaxing and I recommend it.

I had a wonderful experience getting my hair cut at Soleil 7. The front desk staff were very friendly, and I did not wait long at all before being called back for my scheduled appointment. My hair stylist was Brooke, & she was very personable & nice to talk to. I showed her pictures of how I wanted my hair to be cut & styled & she did an excellent job of recreating that. My haircut didn't take nearly as long as I expected, & it was nice to get in & out of the salon & still feel pampered.
