James R. Boots, D.C. has been a chiropractor serving the Heart of the Valley Area since 1985. In 1998 he opened Boots Chiropractic & Wellness Center, S.C. with his brother, Dr. Bill. Dr. Jim attended the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point prior to his graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1985.

Might be a good choice if you need a gentle gradual alternative chiropractic adjustments over a long period. I was having rib issues and needed a pretty simple adjustment I’ve received many times over the years. For $200 (discounted* from $240 cash price by signing up for some $50 plan) I was given an SAT type health questionnaire, a few clicks up the spine with the bone gun, a series of carnival-esque strength tests that showed “improvement” (and conveniently relied on the subjective pressure and angle applied by the tester) and in place of the normal “do you feel better” or “has this

I have been seeing Dr. Jim for a few years. He is very friendly and professional. He knows all the places I need adjustment on. I saw 4 other Chiropractors before going to see Jim. All of them were back crackers. Not as good for me as I have 3 bad discs. Jim uses the method that helps me and doesn't hurt my back when he is finished. I actually feel MUCH better after my visit with Jim. I am a golfer and if it wasn't for Jim, I don't think I would be able to go golfing much. Thanks Jim, you're the best!!!

Boots Chiropractic office shows professionalism. They have shown professional courtesy, and helped me get appointments the same day if needed. Dr. Bill is my Dr. and has always been an excellent listener, shows compassion, gives encouragement and explains and teaches about my issues and only wants the best for his patients. Hands-down the best chiropractor practice! My whole family goes there along with all of my clients. They are all extremely thorough with every visit, knowledgeable, and they care about every patient that walks through the door. Any stage in life, whether you are pregnant, post partum, an athlete, or want to have your newborn baby seen as a patient, they are fantastic. They also deliver results, and significantly can improve your quality of life! 10/10 recommended!
