Seismic Equipment Qualification (SEQ) Group in charge of providing seismic structural engineering construction completion assessment of the SEQ Structures, Systems, and Components (SSCs). Prepared and reviewed Calculations, Design Basis, Design Criteria, and Specifications to comply with industry codes and standards.
Shaw Group (CB&I), US DOE Savannah River Site, Aiken, SC, Equipment Seismic Qualification (ESQ), Mix Oxide Fuel Fabrication Facility (MFFF) or MOX to produce nuclear fuel, which will be a mix of Uranium and Plutonium. Performing seismic equipment qualification duties, including seismic qualification to IEEE STD 344, embed and base plate analysis, connection design, steel design, and component failure analysis.
