Ask for flea and tick control products, as well as most of the needed over the counter and prescription drugs for your pets, horses. Gingivitis and associated mouth inflammation is extremely painful and may result in reluctance to eat, weight loss, and poor quality of life. During routine preventative vaccinations we screen for retained baby teeth and abnormal tooth alignment.
During our pre-purchase examination, we conduct a thorough soundness and physical exam on each horse. Advanced diagnostics can also be added to the pre-purchase exam. These diagnostic include ultrasonography (for a brood mare), and in-house laboratory services.
Valley Veterinary Clinic's responsibility is not to Pass or Fail the horse, only to interpret current physical findings, and advise the purchaser as to the potential limitations of the animal.Dr. Terri Deweert has received advanced training in evaluating your horse's dental needs. The need for basic floating, or occlusal equilibration is evaluated as a routine part of your horse's annual care.

Our on-site laboratory performs CBC, Chemistry, fibrinogen and T4 blood analysis within 15 minutes while you wait. We also provide on-site fecal tests, evaluation of masses by fine needle aspiration, as well as urinalysis. We also offer vaginal cytology to enhance timely canine breeding. We utilize commercial veterinary laboratories for specialty tests; with most results received within 24 hours.

We starting coming to Terri and her staff with our first Golden, River. Terri and her late husband, Dan, could not have given her better loving treatment. When River died we feel Terri, Dan and staff were morning him nearly as much as we were. Then came our 2nd Golden, Spirit. Again the loving, professional care he received was above and beyond. Special thanks also for Lacy's great job with Spirit's laser treatment - he loved it. River and Spirit never left the practice without hugs and cookies. We now live in Port Ludlow and we sincerely miss Terri, Lacy and Debbie and so does Spirit! Thank you

Great experience. The staff was patient and friendly and I was so impressed with their treatment for my big dog. They took great care of him and were able to fix him up quickly without having to sedate him. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome and the time taken to care for my big boy. I have a lot of dogs and I have used these services frequently for my crew! Terrie and staff are absolutely wonderful. I have no concerns about their ethics, their professional experience and willingness to continue to problem-solve your pet's situation and they are humble and refer if needed. Terrie is an excellent surgeon. They keep their prices affordable for our region and you never leave without your pet getting extra cuddles. They help socialize my puppies and take the time to sit on the floor with them if needed. You can't beat these guys!!
