We understand how intimidating it can get for children when visiting a dentist. Our goal is to provide a pleasant and positive experience for both you and your children while focusing on your specific needs. Following dental school, those accepted to the specialty of pediatric dentistry go through extremely rigorous 2-year hospital/university-based residency training under the mentorship of experienced faculty.

Our entire staff is wonderful with children, allowing them to relax while we care for their teeth.
At West Texas Pediatric Dentistry, we offer a variety of services to care for your child's mouth. Dental sealant is a plastic coating painted on your teeth. It attaches to your child's teeth, smoothing the rough edges, depressions, and grooves that are typically found on teeth. It gives your child's teeth a protective coating, helping to prevent tooth decay and cavities.
We use different methods of cleaning to fit the individual child's needs in order to remove plaque/tartar/stains and to demonstrate the appropriate brushing and flossing techniques. Furthermore, cleaning appointments introduce the young child to dental procedures and also facilitate a thorough clinical examination.
Our trained professionals take pride in offering contemporary, high speed, digital radiography with appropriate safeguards to increase safety and reduce radiation exposure. Every child is unique and we take x-ray films on an as needed basis. In general, children need x-rays more often than adults because of the rapid changes in growth and susceptibility to decay.

The best pediatric dentist a concerned mother could ask for. Dr. Gutta is amazing. My son saw her after seeing multiple dentists in the area. She was our third opinion on my son's teeth. All the dentists we have seen have been great, but she is a mom, and that's exactly what I needed while trying to navigate how to help my son and his teeth. She spent a lot of time with us and was SO patient, I have not once felt rushed or like I'm talking too much. She explained everything clearly and slowly. She treats her patients as if they are her children. The office staff are just as amazing. All so kind

Worst experience I've ever had. My son went in for a crown and while they were working on him they suggested I have him evaluated for ADD/ADHD. They refused to schedule his next appointment until I brought in the paper work stating that he was tested. Never again will we be coming back. They were very hectic while talking my my son also. trying to calm him down but talking a mile a minute all at once. I don't know any 6 year old that is going to be calm with everything happening all at once.

West Texas Pediatric Dentistry is wonderful! It is very clean, has a nice play area for kids, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and Dr. Anna was great! Everyone helped my almost 3 year old son feel comfortable and he had a very good experience. They were also great with my one year old daughter. Dr. Anna took the time to explain to me as the parent all of the things I can do to help me kids. Overall, I am very pleased with the office, the staff and our whole visit!

Our experience was awesome!!! When we arrived we were greeted by a professional and friendly staff. The office was kid friendly and very clean. My daughter had quite a bit of dental work that was needed Dr. Anna took the time to explain and go over our options. Dr. Anna and her staff made sure that our daughter was comfortable in every way not only were they able to perform the work that was needed immediately but the whole staff stayed late due to them fitting us in. Loved our experience and we highly recommend Dr. Anna.
