Services
We began producing weddings fourteen years ago, eventually merging our love for events with our passion for travel. The result: epic experiences globally. We met in a bar; more specifically, working in a bar. It was the end of the summer and our lives were headed in different directions (Bryan to San Francisco and Alison to Chicago).
We blend five-star hospitality with boundless creativity, and have mastered the fine art of making a meticulously planned event feel spontaneous and effortless. Most people see a venue and although it looks beautiful, they really have no idea if it's the right venue for them. Is it a wedding factory?
Our virtual process allows you to have a bespoke wedding anywhere in the world without sacrificing your time or your sanity. A seamless event involves so much more than how it looks. It's understanding proper service, whether it's an intimate family-style dinner party for twenty or a five-star culinary experience for two hundred where each guest is served at precisely the exact same time.

Alison and Bryan exceeded our expectations at every turn! They helped create the wedding we couldn't even imaging for ourselves! We feel so lucky that they were a part of our wedding because they really did make the planning and execution so flawless and fun! Bryan and Alison of VLD Events are the perfect wedding planners. We had our wedding back in Michigan in September 2016. VLD is amazing. Bryan and Alison are gems. Their creativity, handwork and loving spirit made our wedding a spectacular event. I was so impressed with how perfectly B & A made our wedding vision come to life. They became family in the planning process! Alison and Bryan are the best! When we got engaged multiple people suggested that we look into getting a wedding coordinator, but I wasn't initially sold on the idea. I had a lot of things that I had wanted to do myself, and I felt like I could handle planning a wedding on my own. I am SO happy that we found VLD, and decided to work with them throughout the wedding planning process, it was seriously one of the best decisions we made!
Alison has great taste and tons of helpful suggestions for wedding vendors. Every one of our vendors was amazing and we found them all through VLD's recommendations

Wedding planning is a huge undertaking, and while everyone tells you this when you start, a full appreciation for the scope only hits after your about half way through planning. But never fear if you have Alison and Bryan - they will take the time to learn about you and answer all questions with your wedding goals in mind. Our wedding day was a blur of excitement, love and joy, and never once panic because VLD was on site to take care of everything. Guests who thought they had RSVP'd - taken care of, backup rain plan - executed, other issues - we still don't even know about them. A wonderful experience

I would give VLD more than five stars if Google allowed me to. We worked with VLD in designing our wedding and they also did day-of coordination for us. From the first day we met Alison & Bryan, I knew our wedding was going to be something way more special than we could imagine.
