Amazingx10. The phtographer was very sweet and great with our 4 year old daughter.
The pictures came out amazing, and not only did she make us feel comfortable during the photography session, but also during the selection of photos.
This is our first set of family photos and I couldn't be happier!
We plan to return for a few more sessions.
If you are on a budget, go with groupon and rest assured-this is absolutely worth every penny! :)

I can't say enough good things about Deb and the team at Luminis. We decided to do some family portraits for my parents 45th wedding anniversary, something my Mom had been asking for for years.
During the shoot, Evan, our photographer, could not have been more pleasant to work with. He coordinated all 10 of us together with patience and total professionalism. He made us feel right as ease because we could tell he knew what he was doing.
When we got the images back, they were absolutely perfect. When my Mom saw them she absolutely LOVED them. So much so that tears of joy were shed.

We decided to get a family photo shoot done for Christmas. We found Luminis from Groupon. The entire experience was fantastic! From the moment we started out photo shoot, to reviewing the pictures a few days later, it was really great! Our photographer, Alaina, was really energetic, fun, professional, and most importantly, TALENTED! The end product was more than what we had hoped for.

I really enjoyed our session and the quality of the pictures. However, the communication with the company is not the best. I had to call them to make sure they received my email because I didn't hear back from them...and I also had to call them to ask for the gallery of pictures. Not really professional in my opinion.

We had family pictures taken, I also had a professional headshot, and some individual photos of my toddler. Evan was our photographer and he was great to work with!! We love their proximity to great backgrounds outside in the historic Folsom area (Folsom bridge, Lake, old buildings, beautiful trees, etc). They also have an indoor studio for newborn pics, etc. Evan was great and didn't skip a beat when my toddler had a melt down about the wagon prop . Reasonable professional photo packages. We went with digital images to save money.

I purchased a Groupon for three separate photo sessions. I spread the photo sessions out over a year. You make an appointment for a photo shoot session, a week later you come in, review the images, and pick out the ones you like. It takes about one-two weeks after you choose the images to receive them. My girlfriend loved the pictures.
Julia was a great photographer. She was very kind and passionate about her work.

A huge shout out to Ms. Julia for handeling my crazy family photo shoot. She was incredibly professional AND friendly. She made even my father feel super comfortable and was able to get so many candid photos of him! Actually, she was able to get so many candid photos of my family that we ended picking! So it would be redundant to point out she has a great eye....but I really, really had to mention it.
The photo shoot was of my multi-generation family so not only did she make my parents confortable, she was able to connect with my kid and got him not to only cooperate but only enjoy the photo

Julia at Luminis Studios is one of the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She was able to fit in a photo shoot of my family & I around the holidays. She was very professional as she helped the six of us prepare for our outdoor family photos. She was very knowledgeable about what time would produce the best natural lighting & was patient and encouraging while helping us be comfortable with the camera.
I highly recommend this studio and I know my family & I would love to work with Julia again for future photos.
