A completely rebuilt venue offers a beautiful new dining room, modern lounge and an always popular, covered patio. We still offer great outdoor patio seating for the sun lovers and those who prefer to get just a little closer to the lake. Twenty minutes past Sandpoint, on Hwy 200, The Floater is open Easter to mid October for lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch.

Lake Pend Oreille's only floating restaurant offers made from scratch specialties and outstanding, custom catering by longtime Chef/owner Elissa Robbins. Accessible by boat or car, The Floater is located at Hope Marina, 47392 Hwy 200, East Hope, Idaho.

Had a wonderful dinner tonight. Our server was great. He helped me navigate the menu due to my allergy needs. The food was great! Thank you Tristan for the attention and making sure my meal was perfect.

I've been here 3 times. One time the restaurant was busy the other times it was practically empty. All 3 times the service was very slow. One visit I waited at the bar for 5 minutes for a drink but the bartender never came and took my order, so I left. For being an establishment with higher prices meals, I feel that it should have a nicer feel. To me, the place just feels a little dirty. Food scraps on floors, bar smells like spilt beer, menu lamination is cheesey, bathroom trash full, etc. However, the wait staff was friendly and the views are great.

One of our favorite local restaurants. We have been enjoying over 15 years. Love the menu selections, everything is delishous! Great service and location in Hope on the water...a hidden N. Idaho Gem!

Great food! We had reservations but had to wait 30 minutes for our table and 20 more for our drinks after we had already sat at the bar for 30 minutes and were ignored. Bartender is hard working but they need more help. Then after 30 minutes of a late reservation we were asked to hurry as they had another reservation coming although there were empty tables! Great food and setting. Would go back back but need to get their bar working better. We are locals and have eaten here many times and it is always the same!

Had the lobster stuffed chicken, dad had the short ribs and mom had the charbroiled sockeye, everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful food, well mixed drinks and great atmosphere. Waitress was a rock star. We were there around 1.30 pm on a Sunday. They had open tables so there was no wait. We were surprised because parking lot was full. We just happened to be there when someone was leaving. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful spot on the wayer. Had never been before. We bombarded the lounge with 17 people. Our bartender gal was fantastic! Whipped me up a fabulous huckleberry martini, while she enter acted with all of us, joking and welcoming us all! They knew we were coming to eat, arrived early, and within minutes they had us seated outside all in the same area! Two great servers outside too. We couldn't have asked for more. Can't wait to go back!

Good food and service. Very cool to pull up to the dock and grab a bite to eat. Downfall is that there is no air conditioning in the restaurant on the hottest day of the year so far. Always a special place to go when on Lake Pend Orielle.

This place is great! Service was great. Beautiful place. The cocktails were different & really good. They put out a great menu with some seriously tasty dishes. Calamari was cooked perfectly & it’s all the premo meat. The shrimp, the stuffed meat balls, the burger, & the soup was really good. Seems like everything here is made to order & made from scratch. We’ll be back most definitely.
