He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Southeastern Louisiana University (SLU) in 1972 and became a Louisiana Certified Public Accountant in 1975.He is also licensed to practice in Mississippi. Bruce serves as the Partner-in-Charge of all engagements. Mr. Harrell is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Society of Louisiana CPAs (LCPA) and the Mississippi Society of CPAs.

We offer a variety of accounting services for clients who wish to minimize "in-office" record keeping procedures or who have need for additional accounting capabilities. Services include, among others, consulting, projections, and special analyses of financial statements and records for the purpose of identifying and correcting problems.
BHC serves a wide variety of business interests. All professional accountants in the firm must master general accounting and auditing skills to effectively serve all our clients. Every member of our professional staff is an accounting graduate from an accredited university. BHC also provides continuing professional education and encourages all professional staff to successfully complete the uniform CPA examination.
Bruce Harrell & Company is a firm of licensed certified public accountants authorized to conduct business under the public accountancy laws in Louisiana and Mississippi. We are independent as prescribed under generally accepted auditing standards and in accordance with the provisions of the GAO "Standards for Audits of Governmental Organizations, Programs, Activities and Functions" and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
