Started over ten years ago, the Kahootz band is Boston's premier party band. We are foremost a high energy dance band adaptable to any style event whether it be a fundraiser, a corporate event or a private affair such as a wedding reception. We are recommended by most major hotels in New England and have built a reputation as being Boston's best party band able to cover every popular dance style from every era.
KB3 is a high energy Boston-based band that packs a powerful party punch in a smaller size than Kahootz or the K2 band. Like all of our bands, KB3 features New England's top talent. Female and male lead singers front a band consisting of saxophone, keyboards, bass, drums and guitar. Among the musicians the drummer sings lead and back up vocals.
Kahootz Entertainment has built special relationships with some of New England's finest vendors. One of these allows us to offer top of the line up-lighting at a reduced cost to our clients. Basic packages start at $650.00 and include up to twenty lights with the color(s) of your choice. A lighting engineer that stays the entire length of your reception is also part of the package.

Kahootz Band is amazing! We've been working with them for the past year on planning music for our wedding day and they were organized, helpful and fully understood everything that we were looking for for our wedding day. We ended up with a 2 piece band for the cocktail hour and a 9 piece for the reception and loved all moments of it. The band is super talented and played everything we asked for and more. They brought everyone to tears during the ceremony and cocktail hour with the amazing violin and piano duo, got everyone out of their seats during reception and kept the dance floor packed all

The highlight on our wedding day in November 2019 was the music from start to finish. Chris and the rest of Kahootz lived up to the hype and absolutely kept the vibe of the room going all night long with music from all genres and decades. We heard every song we wanted to and the band sounded amazing! They were super easy to work with prior to the event when organizing the layout of the night and when it came to wedding day everything was perfect from ceremony to last song! Hiring Kahootz was the best decision we made for our wedding weekend! Leading up to the wedding, Chris was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions and hopping on calls to discuss various details when needed. Working with K2 for our wedding was HANDS DOWN the best decision we made for our wedding! From start to finish Chris was a pleasure to work with. He was extremely timely with communication and walked us through the entire process step-by-step. We got married at the Park Plaza on 10.19.19 and KB3 was absolutely AMAZING. From the moment the party started, everyone was on the dance floor (even before dinner). They met my high-energy crowd with even more energy and I'm pretty sure nobody left the dance floor all night.
We had a specific vision for how we wanted all of our entrances and first dance to go and Jim and his team were outstanding and made it all happen. We had the pleasure of working with Kahootz for our Boston wedding in December of 2019. Chris and the rest of the band were great to work with ahead of the event as we thought through our ceremony and reception music. They were truly an asset to have as part of the process and made life easier for us! They rocked the party, creating exactly the vibe we had discussed. Literally no one left the dance floor once they started playing. Absolutely the best wedding band I've seen.
