MKG International Martial Arts
Our signature, "Jeet Kune Do" class. With training methods and techniques derived from, Muay Thai, Jun fan Kickboxing, Kali, Panatukan, Submission Wrestling and Silat, it is a true mixed martial art program. Through martial art and self-defense games your child will learn to kick, punch, and grapple.

They'll get lessons on being positive, always doing their best and helping others. MKG International's BJJ program is an official affiliate of 8th degree Black Belt, Rigan Machado and we receive regular visits from Rigan Machado black belts, Chris McCune and Erik Paulson. We provide Martial Arts instruction for a variety of disciplines and age groups in a casual atmosphere.
Services
MKG International is a branch of Rick Faye's "Minnesota Kali Group" in Minneapolis, Minnesota. All MKG branches strive to have a well rounded martial art curriculum. The majority of our students focus more on training methods and functional drilling than on competition. All of our classes are conducted with a JKD philosophy and are great workouts filled with offensive, defensive and countering reactions.
At MKG we respect you and your health above all. Our gym is laid out from wall to wall with Zebra Elite Grappling Mats. These mats provide superior shock absorption and some of the best impact protection on the market today. Zebra Mats provide a sure footing and help to minimize risk for all who train on them.
The Youth Program at MKG International includes a Jeet Kune Do curriculum that includes international style kick-boxing and grappling. It is presented in a fun non-competitive format. MKG prides itself on being a martial art academy that builds character and lifts the spirit of children and young adults.

The coach had a white belt and told us we were doing muai thai and we were in a jujitsu gee was really confused about that.

My 6 year old daughter attended her first ever Martial arts class here. She loved it! The instructors were very good with all the kids in the class and the other kids in the class were helping my daughter throughout the entire session without anyone asking them to. It was so fun to watch how they all work together and enjoy themselves.

Very welcoming gym. Whether you are a beginner or not this gym and the members that are a part of it will help you grow! You will get a great workout, make new friends, and grow as a person. If you are hesitant to try martial arts as a form of workout then give this gym a try. The coaches will work with you and you will find a new passion just like I did! Overall, this gym and everything it has to offer is great.

Great people - great workout - don't be afraid to try it just because it says martial arts. It's a full body workout, not fighting - learning a new art - meeting some great folks and getting yourself into shape at any age. Kids and teen classes also available.
