We had a wonderful experience with Sarah O!! Amanda worked with us to create a custom ring with an heirloom diamond. We liked one of the rings they already had, so she was able to adapt that ring's design to fit with our center stone. We aren't located in Denver, so we communicated via email after our initial call.
We were a little worried about shipping our diamond to Sarah O initially, but Amanda walked us through everything! She recommended we get the diamond appraised so it would be insured for its full value during shipping, which definitely gave us peace of mind.

I had the most wonderful experience with Becca at Sarah O. She helped me create my dream ring all within the budget I'd requested. The virtual online/phone/email consultation was the only way to go for me as I live in California. Becca was patient and kind and made absolutely sure every detail was how I wanted. I almost wish we received poor customer service, so I'd have an excuse to keep this place all to myself. But the reality is, I have to leave a review, because we received excellent service from Amanda Portner at SOJ. She was very responsive, provided plenty of options, and was very patient and informative, allowing us to feel comfortable with our purchase. We're all the way over in Los Angeles, so communication was critical, and Amanda was great. So the cat's out of the bag. We wanted a custom, non-traditional engagement ring; something that could incorporate some heirloom stones from some of my gran's rings and the use of a sapphire center stone instead of a diamond. The team at Sarah O. was an absolute DREAM to work with. In the time of had my ring, I have had to bring it in multiple times for repair. And I baby the ring, I don't sleep in it, take it off for dishes/cooking- everything. It got to the point where I just stopped wearing it because I felt like It was made poorly. Which is clearly not what any bride wants to hear- 3 years and multiple repairs.
The service was belittling, telling me that this is just what happens with fine

I would say if you are looking for Moissanite I would go else where, it just became very complicated have to order a ring without being able to see anything in person and I felt like the customer service wasn't the same as the other reviews since I wasn't getting a diamond.
We had gone in on June to 6th to look at some options and had a pretty good idea of what was wanted we were just debating the sizing. This was the original quote given.

Here's what makes a good owner great. I had a bad experience in the store and the owner found out. She called me and was sincerely concerned about my experience. I have had other pieces of jewelry designed by Sarah and Hannah and wear them all the time. I love their designs. I personally appreciate the professionalism exhibited with my complaint and know that Sarah will be dealing with the situation. One bad experience out of several positive ones is easily forgiven. I bought a diamond necklace from Sarah O's jewelry for ~$1000. I wore it once and the necklace broke in half when I took the necklace off. In doing so, two diamonds fell off. When I contacted the store I was told I needed to pay for the repairs. Even though I wore it once and only for a few hours. This was clearly a design flaw and I was shocked I needed to pay for the repairs after wearing it once and the damage occurred by simply removing the necklace. There was no budging with Sarah O's staff and I was asked to pay for the repairs. I paid the $50 and had the necklace repaired

My husband and I wanted to update my engagement ring for our 10 year anniversary. I stumbled upon the Florence ring from Sarah O and instantly fell in love (again!) We used the diamond from my original ring and they were able to create a custom ring that looks exactly like the Florence. It is gorgeous!
I worked with Danielle to sort out any questions I had and she was amazing. She answered all of the questions I had and took a lot of photos as I was purchasing the ring sight unseen from DC! A wonderful experience all around.

Appointments are available online. I was a little uncomfortable that they did not have a security door for entrance. I came in for watch batteries, but unfortunately I did not check my phone for their message stating they do not carry watch batteries. I was given an alternate referral for the batteries and enjoyed window shopping the beautiful, unique jewelry while my engagement ring was complimentary cleaned.

I'm writing this review to warn people of the return policy and of their quality. I purchased a ring as a gift to my wife for our 1 year anniversary back in back in November of 2020. I was finally given a refund of 95% of my purchase in march of 2021 after 42 emails.
I ordered the ring through their online ordering system using their drop-down selections. They had the ring and diamond in stock and had it assembled and promptly ship it. And having gotten to know Sarah and her crew, their creativity, their savvy in listening and learning what the client wants, and passion for the art, I knew who we should tap when it came to our engagement and wedding. The BEST local jewelry! Super unique and the customer service is unmatched. My now husband custom made the ring of my dreams here! We also both got our wedding bands here in such a short amount of time. Even during Covid, they've been super helpful and responsive. Always a lovely experience at Sarah O, and my goodness do they have a GORGEOUS selection. None of the chunky, bland outdated styles you often see at a jewelers, everything is very on trend. I purchased my husband's wedding band here and he purchased a necklace for me. Of the multiple saleswomen we've worked with over several visits they have all been extremely pleasant and helpful, even when we have stayed we are just browsing.
