We provide excellent West Houston, Texas patio landscaping design and backyard landscaping services.
Outdoor fireplaces are all custom depending on customers input and architectural look they're wanting to achieve. They all have a prefab insert kit, fire brick inside. We usually build with a front seating heart if elevated, and connecting side benches. Base fireplaces with hearth are roughly 8 feet wide, with an overall height up to 10 feet.
Depending on the conditions or requirements, patios are either concrete based with mortared sub-base and joints. In some instances especially in heavy tree roots we will use a compacted granite gravel base, with a geo-textile cloth, then an one inch sub-base to get our levels and grade correct, and for overall stability.
All of our pergolas and trellis are made of red western cedar, 66 posts set in concrete, 210 bands and dividers, 26 rafters with decorative tails, 22 shade tops with 2 spacing. Variations to 22 spacing, decorative tails, etc. are also available. Trellis are typically two posts, 8' to 10' overall widths, to accommodate a porch swing, or perhaps a cedar or galvanized panel for using plants or privacy.

For the past 15 years, we have trusted Ron Stevens Landscaping with our landscaping and hardscaping projects. Ron is honest, on time, stands by his work, and his team does an excellent job. He is knowledgeable about plants, stone work and drainage. Most recently Ron renovated our backyard with all new landscaping, a travertine patio, turf and a pergola.

Ron and his team were awesome. Their work was well done and done quickly. Ron always communicated quickly with me, and his team was punctual and very professional. See photos for the plants (bamboo, abelia, foxtails) they planted in our back flowerbed- it looks great! They also cleaned up (mulched, weeded, trimmed) our front yard.
