At Maitland Farm we help each child develop his or her potential at his own pace. We nurture each child's sense of wonder, curiosity, caring and confidence. Children develop a sense of themselves as capable individuals as they master a variety of skills--ranging from self help, to motor, to cognitive.
We encourage respect for the environment and for the needs of others. We do this through a well-balanced program of experiences that encourages the growth of the "whole child." The "4 R's" are very important at Maitland Farm. By helping children develop healthy relationships and a sense of respect, responsibility and resourcefulness, parents and teachers help children build firm foundations for life.

Services
We do offer a 5 full day program for 2 year olds. The children participate in hands-on activities that are both socially and intellectually stimulating. Children interact with teachers and other children as they work in different learning centers, participate in music, cooking and story times, and enjoy outdoor activities.
We have a unique opportunity at Maitland Farm to move beyond the four classroom walls and use many areas of our 5 acre campus for our explorations. Each class has flexible porch space in which to spread out activities such as art, science, woodworking, block building, and small groups. Our picnic shelter also serves as an outdoor classroom and many a nature walk culminates with sharing treasured finds on the picnic tables.

After reading a few of the other reviews, I said - "this can't be the same Maitland Farm Preschool that my twins Rebecca and William attended for almost 3 years." Never once did we have an issue or problem that wasn't resolved to our satisfaction.
Moving to Vero Beach from Fort Lauderdale, my wife and I had 3 kids that required an education. Our oldest daughter - who already had skipped a grade in Elementary school - was on her way to Catholic school. Our twins - not so lucky as the "preschool" educational opportunities were sparse.

This is one of the best preschools in town. Having gone from MFP to one of the best private schools in the county, we thrived both mentally and physically. This was a great choice, and even educators agree. The animals added a special touch and allowed the children to get in accordance with nature and its beauty.

My son started at Maitland August 2016. We paid $550/month for him to go 9-12 M-F. He was sick with Hand, Foot and Mouth (twice), strep throat (twice) and the flu. I pulled him out at the end of November. The teachers are nice but they do not clean the toys or classrooms enough!! They only clean once a week and the kids are always sick. To top things off, I wanted to re-enroll him for the 2017-2018 school year but they said he could only apply as a new student, not an alumni student. So I guess the $2200 I paid to them was chump change??? Also, look at their students- 99% white. I'll
