Services
Are you keeping up on your pets daily teeth brushing? Similar to humans, our companions build up tartar and calculus that even daily brushing can't remove. Proper oral hygiene relieves pain, prevents disease and can prolong quality of life. Digital X-rays allows us to diagnose pregnancies, identify orthopedic disease (lameness), abdominal and chest diseases/ foreign bodies.
Horses teeth constantly erupt throughout life, and maintaining a proper grinding surface for feed and forages occasionally requires work to "float" or grinding down of the tooth surfaces. Wire cuts are a common result of the area we live. Many severe cuts require immediate attention resulting in possible surgery and treatment for tetanus.
A native to the Bear Lake Valley, Dr. Miller graduated in 2018 from the Utah State University/Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Miller purchased the Bear Lake Animal Hospital in the summer of 2018 from Dr. Charles Merrell. Since the change, Dr. Miller has worked with the routine small and large animals and has even dabbled in exotics and camelids.

There is about 4 inches of completely exposed bone at the tip of his tail!!! He has to have his tail partially amputated! They were told he had
