Boulder Creek condominiums by the golf course occasionally come up for sale in the $350,000-$550,000 price range, while single family golf course homes typically are priced $800,000 to $1,000,000. Homes in Boulder Creek are amongst the most affordable in the region. During the first few months of 2021, prices averaged $768,000, about 40% above the last peak which averaged $540,000 during the first half of 2007.
The tiny hamlet of Brookdale surrounds the Brookdale Lodge, a "world famous" venue for music, lodging, and restaurant featuring Clear Creek running right through it! In the same complex are an assortment of other retail shops with a post office across the street. A new owner has taken helm over the property, which had run into disrepair before it was sold and poorly managed by the last owner.

Centrally located between Santa Cruz and Los Gatos, and within 30 miles of San Jose and the Silicon Valley, Scotts Valley is an ideally sized smaller city for many who work in high tech but don't want to live in a crowded metropolis.

A first-generation immigrant and a first-time-on-the-home-market here! MC was super resourceful in onboarding to the realities of the US vacant land buying and prevented some very rushed decisions. A well overdo review for MC, who helped us navigate our first home purchase this past summer. MC explained everything in a way that was easy to understand from reviewing the inspections, making the offer, and working with the broker (who was also a recommended by her). Although my husband and I ended up purchasing a home outside of the area MC services, we were incredibly impressed with MC during the time we worked with her. We relocated from San Diego to San Lorenzo Valley, selling our old home and buying a new one in the process. We found MC by researching online. The reviews showed that she was very knowledgeable about the area. -- The Reviews were right. She is a genuine expert in the local area, and in all things dealing with real estate. She got us through all the complications of the process. She had personal knowledge of many of the properties that we looked at and thoroughly researched the ones that she didn't.
