Right before christmas I got a quote on a job for my church. I was happy with it, so I collected money from members and placed the order. When I went to pick it up, I was given a bill almost $100 (nearly 30%) more than the quote I was given!! I asked why, and they said "color copies are expensive" and that they had to do hand collating and hand filing work, even though I was NEVER informed of any additional cost associated with any of these things. I had no choice but to pay the extra money out of pocket, as I had people expecting these items for christmas gifts.
