We know some people would rather go to the dentist than have their photograph taken. That is why at Simple Snaps by April, we spend time getting to know you first. We want you to be super comfortable before we get out the camera and start the session. When you come into our suite, there will be music to help you relax.

The studio is located in the heart of Downtown Lawrenceville. Feel free to take a peek at some of my favorite photographs.
I wish I could freeze time or go back in time and watch my kids grow up all over again because it is just going by too fast. According to Harley A. Rotbart M.D. in his book No Regrets Parenting; Turning Long Days and Short Years into Cherished Moments with Your Kids we only have 940 Saturdays with our children between birth and them leaving for college.
We know that for some members of the family, they would rather go to the dentist than have photos taken. We work to make the experience quick and enjoyable for everyone. We will go through different poses both sitting and standing. We will then do photos of parents with each individual child, the parents together, siblings together, and images of each individual.
When should I schedule my maternity session? The best time to schedule your maternity session is around 28-34 weeks. This ensures your tummy will be nice and round, but you hopefully will not be too uncomfortable at this point. We recommend scheduling at least two to three weeks in advance. We have limited sessions available, so you want to book as soon as possible.

I gave birth to a baby girl a few months ago and was hesitant about taking newborn pictures. A few of my friends talked me into it and recommended April. I'm so glad they did! April was amazing. Her in home studio is warm and welcoming and my new baby girl loved her! I ended up ordering a few pictures with digital copies and birth announcements, both were a hit with our family and friends! Would recommend and refer her.

April took family and newborn photos for us after we had our second child in June. She is AMAZING! Her technique and talent is impressive, her prices can't be beat and she can work wonders with kids. She has the perfect studio setup for newborns and is patient and persistent in working to get that perfect shot. You will not be disappointed.
