Services
Our mission is to provide explorative learning opportunities to blossoming minds, employing current theories in brain development research, while providing a loving, nurturing, and safe place to play and grow. By maintaining a mixed-age grouping within a green-thinking environment, we create holistic and compassionate environmental stewards, ready and able to take care of themselves, each other, and their world.
At Mixed Greens, we aim to create a continuously evolving learning environment, moving away from the typical academic approach. We strive to maintain a warm and relaxed atmosphere conducive to engaging in and maintaining meaningful social interactions.
Our certified Eco-Healthy Child Care facility aims to utilize eco-friendly building methods, materials, and energy sources as much as possible, with a continuing emphasis on developing awareness through environmentally responsible education and sustainable development.

Mixed Greens upholds a holistic, constructivist, child-centered and play-based approach to emergent curriculum, inspired mainly by the Reggio Emilia Approach, with aspects from Waldorf and Montessori Early Childhood Education models. Learning experiences are project based, forming and flowing in accordance with the children's interests.

I am married with 2 children (one is a Mixed Greens grad and one is a current MG kid :)) Born and raised in Sonoma County, I am a true country girl!
