I found this company through Yelp and have been very satisfied with the technician , Matt whom I saw the first time. He was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and explained how he would clean the vents which could help the air in my house which was setting off my allergies every day.
He also explained another method where he would install a relatively new devise which would clear the mold , dust and allergies that were affecting me. I signed the contract and we scheduled a day for him to repair the heater.
He returned with Bryan who worked with Matt to put in the new device. Both were competent

I do not recommend this comapny. ZERO stars....This company put in a brand new AC unit and it took weeks to get it straightened out and when you call the owner he never calls you back. My family members suffered with 92 degrees inside the house because this company refused to come out every time the air stopped working. They could not figure out why the new AC unit would not work. We had to call them over 10 times and they would take days to get back to us.

I've been using Northstar for 2 years now, previously for AC repair work and most recently for plumbing. They are professional to work with and with the most recent plumbing issues, were able to expedite and get me an earlier appointment. With all of their repairs they offer quotes depending on what type of work you like to get done (e.g. just minimum repair, or replace certain parts). Their work comes with warranty and they have been great at following up on services performed whenever issues arise. I trust their work and highly recommend their service.

Best customer service I've had in the Inland Empire, hands down. Ivan hit it out of the park--reliable, friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and punctual. Takes pride in his work and doesn't overcharge or try to get you to pay for things that you don't need. I will be calling again and requesting him specifically if my air conditioner ever needs to be repaired again.

Our Service Technician Chris Orabona did a fantastic job explaining to me what he was going to be doing in servicing and cleaning our A/C condenser coil’s when he arrived,and was early for our appointment. Northstar was quick and responsive. The first company we called on Friday to fix our leakage problem gave us an appointment for 2 weeks away. Northstar sent their rep, Logan, today, Monday!
Logan diagnosed the problem quickly and took care of it. He also removed the air filter (a difficult process) and gave us correct dimensions and how often to replace it. It was a challenging situation in that a portion of the carpet in the hallway was soaked. Logan determined the drain for the air conditioner was backed up.
With all that Logan did, the charge was a mere $39 -- amazing! Clearly Logan was

The guy came and looked at the house about a month ago. Out of all our bids he was the worst one. He didn't ask question, didn't walk around, just said hi and said what you are looking at is over 8k (we have a 750 sq foot house) and we never heard back. Nice guy but I don't think they take pride or ownership in their work. One of the issues of hiring a big company trying to outsource.

I was shopping around services and even though Northstars initial quote was higher than the other company I was comparing to, they immediately matched the price and contracted with them for a new unit.
After initial inspections, my furnace turned out to be in good working order and they offered to eliminate any unnecessary work and reduced my quote!!

This is a great company! I called two other company's both quoted my a price of over $200.00 when I called Northstar they were polite and professional. I explained that I wanted preventive maintenance done and that my AC unit was on the roof they quoted a price of $39.00 we set an appointment Ivan showed up was very personal and professional. He did the work gave me a overview of the work he had done and the condition of my unit-cost $39.00-
I plan on entering into a service agreement with as honest professional companies like this don't grow on trees.

I recently needed to get my furnace serviced/replaced and attempted to contact several local companies. None would pick up or return my calls. I eventually contacted Northstar after I saw several recommendations on Facebook. Northstar was very responsive, and I was able to schedule an appointment right away. Katie kept me informed throughout the process. I elected to get a new furnace installed, and the installers Mario and Tony were able to get the job done quickly. I definitely recommend this company.

David and the Northstar team have been amazing. We have a home in Big Bear, and it's been quite frustrating getting quotes and quality work done. Along came Northstar and they have been on top of it from the beginning. Support staff and the techs. Amazing team. We got a new mini split system installed and it works perfectly.
I'm glad they are expanding up the mountain. Will be a customer for the long haul.

Northstar (Ivan) came out to fix our air conditioner this morning. He was on time, polite and most of all he was honest. I was referred to him from a neighbor and I am so glad I took their advice. He explained what he was checking as he did the diagnostic and then fixed it promptly. DO Y OUR SELF A FAVOR- Take this referral from me. They do it right with no bull*&^T

Had a pleasant experience with Northstar. From the front office's affable receptionist to the techs who showed up. They're approach seems to be people person's here without compromising levels of professionalism. I didn't feel I was being sold something, which was nice. Even when I decided to hold off for a bit, their attitude of helpfulness did not sway. That's what I appreciated the most and why I decided to go with these guys when I was ready to go forward and replace my AC. Thanks, guys.

Amazing service! I was able to schedule a visit right away on a Saturday. Both technicians were informative, professional, and friendly. They looked at my thermostat which I thought had a problem, but there was nothing wrong. They graciously waived the fee, and changed my filter. I will be calling them from now on!

Was out yesterday to service our new heating and air conditioner (which we are very happy with). He arrived on time and went right to work and explained the process and what the numbers meant as he tested the unit inside and out. He even pulled a couple of weeds near the unit. Doug was very courteous, professional and very knowledgeable of the heating and air conditioning business as he answered all our questions and concerns without hesitation. The best part was the service call was 0 dollars.
