Steve is a GIA-Certified Gemologist who tailors custom pieces to the customer's design wishes, right before their very eyes. Kappy's Fine Jewelry is a family owned and operating jewelry store. They began humbly in Brooklyn, New York and in 1947 founder, Simon Kapp, moved the store to South Beach, Miami. Simon's son carried on the family tradition of taking good care of customers and offering high quality jewelry.

Jewelers make an impression in each gold piece of jewelry designed and crafted. On necklaces and bracelets, this stamp is on, or near, the clasp. Rings have a stamp somewhere on the inside surface. A jeweler's loupe is sometimes required to see the tiny stamp placed on fine gold jewelry. The jewelry stamp will include the karat, also called the purity, of the piece, such as 14K or 24K.

Growing up our family's jewler was always like family. Our wedding bands had a couple of the birthstone break and fall out. We took them to a jewellery store to be repaired. Anthony explained to us that Amethyst and Garnet are soft stones and that was most likely why we had to have them repaired more than once. He told us that there are natural diamonds that are red and purple. He showed them to us in a catalog and here are the results. We were thrilled and wished we had been told about this when we originally had them made. Our rings are my Nana’s wedding ring cut in half and more gold added to each rings and three diamonds of her seven on each

Had my wedding rings enlarged and polished. One of rings needed gold added to the walls of the invisible setting. They checked the diamonds under a microscope to see if any of them were loose. My rings came out beautifully. Very happy with their service. Would recommend them. They also have a large selection of jewelry for any occasion. Thanks 😊

I was searching for a pair of diamond studs and I found my unique pair of diamond earrings on Kappy's website. I made my purchase through the phone. I was assisted by Steve Kaye - the owner. He was very helpful with the payment issue of my credit card. We were communicating by phone and email and after one week of purchasing process I had my beautiful earrings in my hands. It looked soon beautiful! (MY 2 gold wedding bands with my mothers 101 year old diamond wedding band repaired & soldered in between.)
My moms narrow wedding band with diamonds was like new and the gold bands were sooo shiny i didn't want to scratch them!

I love this store! They really guided me through the process of customizing my fiancé's engagement ring and truly went above and beyond when we had to make adjustments to get everything perfect with both the ring and the wedding band.
