Hi! I'm Emily, and I live in Round Rock, Texas which is about 20 minutes north of Austin, Texas. Photography is a time capsule for me. I love capturing the small moments of life that will slip away easily with time. We all know people and places change and grow, but a photograph will always be connected to a memory.
Emily is one of Austin's most noted family photographers, with a skill for capturing people living their truth. She captures the stories that hold families together - the ones parents pass down to their children to be sources of strength as they head out into the world. Her lifestyle portraits of individuals - her branding portraits - take this same idea and put it to different use.
What is 'Newborn Lifestyle' photography? I am primarily a lifestyle photographer. Lifestyle photography is a documentary-style approach to photography where there is little formal posing. With Newborn Lifestyle photography, I will come to your home to photograph you, your family, and your new baby in your own environment.

While I will pose your family, I'll also give you prompts to help guide your family and children in order to capture your family's connections, expressions, and emotions as they naturally are.
My goal is to provide Fine Art School Portraits through a custom, boutique experience for all the families attending the schools who have chosen me to photograph their students. I strive to offer a personal, professional, and unique experience. Unlike large, corporate photography agencies, I only select a few schools in order to provide superior customer service and artistic images.

We recently met Emily for a "mommy and me" session with my three boys. She was very relaxed and calm even with my boys being busy and really wanting to explore the park! She work diligently (but never made us feel rushed or pressured) capturing us being silly and loving! The result is beautiful photographs that capture each of my sons personality perfectly!

Emily did a wonderful job with our newborn pictures. Our son was only 1 week old and she had wonderful ideas on how to bring out his "camera presence" and brought some great backdrops and toys to pose him with. The entire session was perfect and we would definitely use her for our photography needs again.

Emily did a wonderful job on our Mother-daughter photos. She was quick on her feet to find options that worked with a cranky toddler. Despite my daughter needing a nap, our photos turned out amazing and you would never know she was fussing and not wanting to be there. We look forward to using her again in the future.

Emily is a very professional but very down to earth photographer. She is great at helping your family get those natural and flattering poses that you want in photos. And if you are worried about taking photos of your kids, don't worry! She has 4 kids and is super understanding of their attitudes and ways to get them to participate! My kids were perfectly happy to take photos with her behind the camera. Our photos are ones that we will cherish always!
