Founded in 1961 as a fuel station, Franklin and Son currently services the automotive repair, tire, and wheel needs of customers in West Texas, Permian Basin. Current owner Reggie Franklin's grandfather originally founded the business in Stanton, TX, and since Reggie joined on in 1992, the business has expanded into 2 more locations in Big Spring, TX, and Lamesa, TX.

Repaired a tire that had a nail in it and never mentioned the inside of the tire was bad and needed replacing so I paid $20 then had to go somewhere and buy a tire. I'm from Oklahoma and when I have taken my tires to be patched or whatever they need they have always told me if I had a bad tire and that it would need to be replaced. I'm in Midland for my very first time for a family emergency, this was disappointing

So I’m new to the area. I’m in college and a single mom. I had been ripped off on my wrangler, desperately in need of help with fixing my 4x4, seeings the weather is horrible and we are supposed to be getting 12-18inches of snow. Little did I know when I walked in, this place would become my automatic go to. Not only do the mechanics know what they are doing, you can tell them genuinely care about the customer. The girls are the front desk are so fun and personable!

After an unfortunate misunderstanding regarding a quote using their website Mr. Franklin reached out to personally apologize and offer to correct the issue. His quick response is an example of the type of service you can expect here. After this experience I would gladly recommend this business. I brought my rv in to get tires all the way around. Service was great. When I got home I noticed 4 lug nuts on the rear were loose. I called them. A week later I checked and some were tight and others were still loose. So I took a lug nut in. They couldn't explain why they were still loose as they tightened them all. We will send someone right out to replace the lugs. A week later I had to take in lugs again as they still had not been out.
They were out the next day and replaced the lugnuts. When I asked how did tr hey verify torque the tech went looking around in the truck and pulled

Excellent place to do business with. What ever you need they can do it for you. If they don't have what you need in stock they will get it shipped to them usually in a day! Friendly,Fair, and Fast! I've lived in big spring 6 months and I've gotten treated like just another number quite a few times (oilfield town) but F&S has treated me like I'm the number one customer. And the guy that was just sitting next to me they treated him the same. They've gone out of their way to get MY business. Highly recommend them
