I went in for a consult for a Spiral Perm. Nicole and the owner were transparent that I might not achieve what I’m looking for due to my hair texture.
Couple of days later, I went ahead and got my first Perm ( I have semi-wavy long hair all the way to my butt ). Nicole was personable, and talented, she made me feel comfortable right away. I enjoyed our chat too!
We did have a little mishap- my fault for not disclosing that my daily face regimen has Retinol… they all jumped in to help assist me. The ladies in this salon are wonderful! Thank you so much!
Fast forward, we achieved our hair

I went to get my hair cut by Hailey, who had cut my hair once before. She did not do a terrible job so I trusted her with cutting my hair again. However, this time was terrible. She cut my hair way too short, and razor cut my hair which thinned out my already thin hair even more. The cut was choppy and un-even and did not look anything like I asked. I tried to wait it out and see if I could style my hair in a way that would make me happy with this cut, but it has now been 5 weeks and I still am not happy. I am going to have to wait out this bad hair cut with low self confidence. I contacted Avenue
