I'm Debbie Gliksman, principal of Urban Oasis Landscape Design and I love my job! It unites my twin passions for design and horticulture. My happy place is where landscape design, functionality, and sustainability meet. I founded Urban Oasis in 2002 with a desire to create gorgeous and innovative outdoor spaces for each and every client.
A Mediterranean Garden Grows in Culver City. A landscape gardener creates a cost effective contemporary Mediterranean garden - complete with a Moorish quatrefoil planter - fit for a Southern California climate. Marvelous collection of plant forms and colors and the space and place are great, in scale with the surroundings and putting "fun" into fundamental.
We contacted Debbie from Urban Oasis on the basis of her reviews and photos. When we met her, we immediately felt that she understood our goals, even though we had a very limited idea of what we wanted, ourselves. Debbie designed and oversaw installation of our entire yard, which consists of 4 distinct areas, most of which we previously had not used.
