Whether it's a baby being born, having a birthday, family portraits or a child going off to college. I help busy families stop time, just for a moment. You're pregnant with your first, maybe second, third or even fourth baby.
You're unique, there is no one else like you! That's why I custom design all my sessions to match the style and personality of each senior. What better way to celebrate your senior than to invest in a custom portrait session that will last for generations? Get them done, before they are gone and off to college!
Your kids will have a sense of belonging and worth of self from seeing themselves on the walls. I will help you plan clothing, location for your shoot as well as where in your home you would like to have your portraits. Wall art is our largest request for family portraits. Either a single larger image, or a grouping of multiple smaller images.
I'll make it easy for you! I know how busy you are. I get it! The headshot session takes at most about 30 minutes, unless we are doing a larger signature branding session. At the end of your session, I will show you your images instantly and you can pick your favorites. I will then do a final retouch to your images and send them via dropbox or online gallery.

Erin is amazing and wants to personalize each experience for you/your family. She is extremely personable and takes the time to get to know you/your family outside of just taking your photos. She is very responsive and will respond to texts at all hours if she is awake/free. She has been able to create the perfect images for us. I googled Rochester, MN newborn and maternity photographers and came across Erin Young’s Photography. I was blown away by the artistry and creativity of her work. Then I saw that she has 20 years of experience and knew she was someone I wanted to have capture this time in my family’s lives. Erin is simply terrific! She is professional, kind, patient, responsive, and makes you feel instantly comfortable. I completely trusted her with my 1 week old. Safety and comfort were obviously her first objective during the newborn session. The prints can be expensive, but you get what you pay for and there is no minimum required. It has been so amazing to work with Erin Young. We did our maternity and newborn sessions with her. I also got to do her new feature of belly casting/baby in the belly cast. Erin is a phenomenal photographer, and we loved working with her for our 2nd child’s newborn photo session. We have worked with several different professional photographers in the past, including a few here in Rochester, and in our opinion Erin is the best we have worked with. She is a true artist and has a great eye for lighting and photo composition. The photos she took and the album she made from the shoot were stunning. We have gotten so many compliments on them. Erin did a great job capturing my newborn. Her work is amazing and now my family has wonderful pictures. Her studio is great and she has tons of backgrounds and props. She was great with my kiddos. My husband and I got our son's newborn photos done by Erin and I wish I could describe how incredible the experience was. From our very first time meeting Erin at our consultation appointment, she always listened and explained everything very well and she always made us feel very comfortable. The amount of time she spent posing and working with our son was incredible. It is obvious she is a professional and one of the very best. Erin did a WONDERFUL job photographing our precious little peanut! From the very beginning of preparing for the shoot all the way through to the ordering appointment Erin was outstanding. She guided me on what outfits I should look at for the style I was going for and gave me tips on foods I should eat to make sure not to upset my little ones belly and make him sleepy for the shoot.
