Highland Family Dental
If you are in need of a general, cosmetic or family dentist in Renton or surrounding areas, please give us a call to schedule your visit here. I went to Highland Family Dental for the first time this week and it changed completely my perception of what a visit to the dentist can be. In order to achieve a sparkling smile, you'll need to treat your teeth to more than just regular brushing.

Healthy teeth start with healthy habits - from your brushing routine to the foods you should and shouldn't eat. Gum disease is an inflammation of the gums that can progress to affect the bone that surrounds and supports your teeth. It is caused by the bacteria in plaque, a sticky, colorless film that constantly forms on your teeth.
Services
Hi there, my name is Angelica. 1 have been a dental assistant since 2006. Over the years, I have become passionate about giving patients the best care possible and making sure they are at ease during their visit. It is my pleasure to be able to work with you! Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family.
Our Renton dental team believes that everyone deserves proper dental care in which he/she feels relaxed and comfortable at all levels. Stop by our Renton office for a complete tour at any time. Our friendly staff at Highland Family Dental will walk you through our office and treatment areas as well as the family and cosmetic dentistry we provide.
Appointments are only needed every eight to twelve weeks to pick up your next sets of aligners. A bright new smile which makes a strong impression. People most likely won't notice you wearing them unless you tell them. Aligners can be removed to eat, drink, or to brush your teeth. Each aligner is worn for a one to two week time frame.
Composite fillings are usually placed in one appointment. While the tooth is numb, your dentist will remove decay as necessary. The space will then be thoroughly cleaned and carefully prepared before the new filling is placed. If the decay was near the nerve of the tooth, a special medication will be applied for added protection.
When we have decided to go ahead with a full crown restoration, we will set aside 2-3 appointments for the entire process. Although the majority of crowns are completed in two visits, there is sometimes a need for a third visit to ensure a proper fit. The procedure begins with the removal of all decay in the tooth.

I had a wonderful first time experience with this office! My dental hygienist and Dr. Cho both were very thorough, explanatory, and kind. Will definitely be a returning patient and recommend them to others!

As other people noted Dr. Cho's oral exam was extensive -- far more than anything I previously experienced. He seems to be a perfectionist. All the other dentists I have gone to seem to be more like the dentist factory line. I hope my first visit wasn't a one-off, but a regular thing.

I went in for a cleaning. Ended up asking for a mouth guard because I clench my teeth. We agreed on a tray for my bottom teeth. When I showed up to have it fitted, I was told "The doctor decided the top would be better." If I didn't have veneers on my top teeth, that would be fine. However, no one took that into consideration or even asked me before doing something different. The guard was too tight so it made me nervous every time I removed it from my veneers. It was so thick that I couldn't keep my lips together and I couldn't not drool.
The first time I had a cleaning, I mentioned I had a spot
