Yuma Veterinary Clinic DVM
We are a family practice that is owned and operated by Dr. Kathy Opfenring and her daughter Dr. Danielle Opfenring Amavisca. We serve Yuma County and the surrounding areas for both in-clinic appointments and mobile veterinary calls at your home, barn, ranch, or stable. As a mixed animal practice, we provide medical care for dogs, cats, horses, exotics, and farm animals.

We help with animals no matter their size! Please call our office at 928-344-1956 to schedule an appointment. If you have an emergency after hours, please call the office number to be directed to an emergency on-call line. Our office hours are from 9 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday. One of these neurological disorders could be to blame for your cat's unusual behavior.

If you're thinking of getting a pet fish, you should know that your veterinarian has a lot of good advice about pet ownership. Fish can be very rewarding as pets, and you just may be surprised about how much fish actually interact with their owners. Thanks to advancements in veterinary care, today's cats can live well into their teen years.
We often have kittens, cats, and other animals who are looking for a place to call home. If you have a space in your home and your heart for a new kitten, adult cat, dog, or even a horse who may need a home then please call our office at (928) 344-1956. We would love to arrange a visit with your potential new family member!

HORRIBLE!!! We had an appt for this Vet to come put our dog down. I had family there, even scheduled it for family member from out of town to be there, She never showed and didn't even have the decency to call us to let us know she wasn't coming!!!!

I called because my dog was having bowel issues and wanted to get an appointment because she was bleeding. The office person said sorry no openings and didn't ask what the problem was or cared!! She was quick to get off the phone and didn't even offer me an appointment time for later in the week!! I will never take my dogs to this vet!!!
