We had the opportunity and pleasure of working with Austin and Mark in recently purchasing a condo in Breck. The marketplace was crazy. Mark provided insights on the marketplace, properties and changing trends. Austin was great in being patient, guiding us through the process and was readily available to answer any question we had - day, night, or week-ends. If you are looking for a realtor in the Breckenridge area, look no further than Luke Paffrath. He guided us through the crazy real estate market that currently is Breckenridge treating us like family the entire time. He was the voice of reason when determining an appropriate offer to make, and a calming force through the entire process. I've known Mark Thomas for some time and respect his insights, wisdom and point of view on things big and little. I listed an office for rent through Paffrath & Thomas, working with Austin Dondanville. Austin was an EXCELLENT agent. He definitely went above and beyond. I had started a remodel of the office before family problems happened. He basically took over the remodel, ordering my new flooring, delivering it to the office, using their handyman to install and paint! Also the lease/new tenant went without problems. I've purchased and sold 9 properties in the past 12 years and have never had a bad experience until now. My condo went under contract in 1 day. After we went under contract, my realtor recommended we increase the sale price by $4000 and then give it back to the buyer in "concessions" at closing (to aid the buyer with his loan qualification). Little did I know that I would be paying capital gains and realtor commissions and 2% Colorado sales tax on that "$4000".
