BEWARE!! You will be billed 10x what you were told with no explanation of the charges. I had high hopes but was extremely disappointed with the integrity of this company. Here’s my story...
1. I called Townsley & Associates when I was shopping for a CPA to manage my personal and business taxes. Upon calling, I was told that bookkeeping charges were $65/hr and that if my books were not reconciled it would take some bookkeeping hours to get it there. I agreed. We decided to move forward and work together.
2. I was told early December that we would have time to reconcile the books before the end

Townsley and Associates has been SO helpful and such a blessing to my husband and i! This was our first year filing with a business and they walked us through step by step making it so much less stressful. Lea is amazing! Just got married and also have home sales/ rental properties on my taxes this year, which made our taxes much more complicated. We have used them for years in our personal and business transactions. They have always been willing to help and adjust schedules to meet with me in person when I have questions. Tax return preparations is not all they do. They also follow up with the IRS when needed. They will also give business advice which allows one to legally make the most of the tax laws.
