Unlike private duty shift care nursing, a skilled nursing visit is when an RN or LVN will visit your home to administer specific care, such as wound care, administer medications, check vital signs, along with other needed skilled nursing procedures in accordance with the care plan and the physician orders, the frequency of visits may vary by patient and could be multiple visits per day or just a few visits each week.
We at Oxford know very well that Caring for a child with special needs can be challenging and demanding. We understand your need to take time for personal care, time to reduce stress, or catch up on rest or other activities. Oxford Healthcare can provide respite care during these times. Respite care enables you to be a caregiver for your child, but also receive support and some time off when you need it.

I have worked for Oxford for over 20 years. I have definitely developed secure, strong relationships with the patients, family, and staff. Client care is my number one priority. With the help from Oxford staff, patients doctors, and family members, I am able to give my Clients and family members the appropriate Nursing Care for their loved ones. My shift priorities involve safety, client care, communication, assessments, adequate supplies, proper functioning equipment, productive work environment, and of course, proper hourly wages and benefits. I enjoy my workplace and the relationships I have

I have worked for Oxford as a Pediatric Nurse for the last 7 years. I applied to this company because my grandmother also worked for Oxford for many many years before she retired. I have had such a pleasant experience working with the clients I have through Oxford. I have been able to not only utilize my skills as a nurse, but also build great relationships & companionships with my pediatric patients. Personally, I would recommend Oxford to any nurse, who needs flexibility & options.
