Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness
I hired Richard Kimble to appraise my house, which he said he could do within a week. I paid $245 prior to the appraisal and never heard from him again despite my efforts to contact him. I was able to enlist the help of my bank to have my money returned, but others might not be so lucky.

GNO Appraisal Services was wonderful. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fair, honest evaluation of their home. Richard got the report to me quickly even though there was a long holiday weekend after the appraisal was conducted, and he responded quickly to all of my questions throughout the process. Richard even offered, at no additional cost to me, to pull comparable house listings for me a year later to see if the valuation had changed. I doubt there are many other appraisers who would have offered that service and I was greatly appreciative. I can't recommend them highly enough

Besides the fact that the report was delivered 6 days later than it was due, the report was very poor. The data did not include homes facing the same street my house faces: the river. Houses with a view of the river sell at a higher price than does that don't. The appraiser didn't use any properties that face the river on his evaluation. His communication with me was very poor as well. I paid him his $250.00 in advanced and his only communication with me was the day after the report was due saying it would be ready on that day, yet I had to wait 6 days later. I do not recommend GNO Appraisal Services
