Located in El Cajon off El Cajon blvd. I was referred by my primary dentist, I was looking for a patience, sensitive, compassionate dentist for my daughter, whom has anxiety about going to the dentist. Excellent referral. Awesome dentist. The dentist was extremely knowledgeable, thoroughly explained the plan of care but most importantly very careful and sensitive when conducting the procedure. Superior customer service. This is the best dentist that I’ve taken my kids to! They really care and take their time to explain to the kids how important dental heath is. The staff (receptionist, hygienists, techs, and the dentists) are always sweet and welcoming. I have a 1 1/2 year old and a 5 year old that go there and they get excited for their checkup appointments!

Nothing like your 19 month old chipping a tooth to cause you to take them to the dentist for the first time...in all seriousness, we were referred to their office after my daughter chipped her tooth and they got us in next day for an appointment with Dr Ryan. Unfortunately, the tooth needed to be extracted but they were able to schedule us for just 3 days later. Procedure went as well as can be expected for an extraction on a toddler. (Also note, they gave me a couple of options of what to do with the tooth but after consulting two other family members in the dental field, we decided extraction

My 14 year old son on a late Sunday afternoon couldn't not wait for me to get off the phone. He decided to leave MT. Helix on his skateboard to get to the skatepark. He left the house and I was called 5 minutes later. I was met with a fire truck, 2 paramedics and 3 emergency workers. We transferred to this dentist from a different one in San Diego. This dental office is always kind in person and on the phone. They've helped with my toddler's dental care, they're affordable, knowledgeable, and the perfect place for young children to receive dental care. My four year old is excited every time we go!

I am highly impressed of this office. After seeing the precautions that they have taken for the safety of the children in regards to COVID-19 I feel totally confident in sending my child or any of my friends or relatives children to this office . Patience, patience, patience is what I have been with this office. First of all the staff is great with kids but the front desk is a different story. The front desk is a mess! They absolutely don't know what they are doing. The younger girls answer the phones and then pass it on to the older ladies that are super passive aggressive! They don't let costumers talk and constantly talk over you. My kids got procedures done. I got a second opinion because I felt there were services that my kids didn't even need. This is the best dentist I've ever used. My children all love how kind and understanding the staff is. Dr. Ryan is so kind to his patients. My kids love how fun and entertaining the staff is throughout the entire process. From walking in, to walking out they are fantastic. The staff in the front office is very kind as well. During one of my visits, my daughter was very upset from her procedure. The staff went out of their way to help us coordinate payment, all without leaving my daughters side. We have been taking our kids here for 10 years. Amazing and super friendly staff.
My son cried for years as a toddler every time he had to get his teeth cleaned and it was a struggle but they were always so patient and understanding.

Moises had his first dental appointment today! This office is excellent. I was able to do all the forms electronically. They texted me and told me which door to enter through. Took our temperature and followed all COVID guidelines. Not only that, they were excellent at cleaning Moises’ teeth, staff were friendly, answered all my questions, and of course gave Moises a gift bag for his visit! I highly recommend this pediatric dental office if anyone is looking! 🦷👶🥰

We Love Dr Chan's office for our toddler. This was our second appt & only waited a few minutes before being taken back for the exam. The staff & Dr Ryan were very kind and made my daughter feel comfortable the whole visit. She especially loves the free toothbrush and toybox at the end. Great staff & care

Appointment for regular check up and cleaning at 10. We arrived on time and NO ONE gave us notice or heads up that they are running late -- one hour late!! So we waited and waited. Until I complained, that's when I was alerted of the delay! I am very disappointed with the poor customer service.
Dr Ryan was very apologetic. We like him. Just be prepared for a very loooooong waiti!

My son loves this dentist! Both Dr. Chan and Dr. Ryan were so sweet to my son. He asked them a million questions and they were very patient with him and answered even the most ridiculous of questions. Before coming here, he was afraid of the dentist, but not anymore! Also, everyone on the staff was extremely friendly to us. I highly recommend them!

I've been taking my kids to this dentist office since they were toddlers. The staff is very friendly and pleasant. The front desk staff as well. They go over all treatment plans and insurance with you thoroughly. Customer service A+. The Dentists also spend time going over treatment plans with you and really include the parent(s) in every decision made throughout the process. Wonderful place! Friendly and caring staff, and Dr. Chan is very knowledgeable and thorough. Went here for my baby's tongue tie and lip tie procedure, and although nothing can make that process easy I am really glad we went here. They made sure that my baby was healing well through several follow up visits, and they always wore gloves and had clean hands. The front desk staff is phenomenal. It is so hard to find friendly receptionist staff at so many medical and dental practices but these ladies are truly on top of it. I love this office and ALL the staff! They are so good with my kids. My daughter who was 11 at the time had a fear of dentist. She now comes here and LOVES it. My little one who is 5 isnt afraid to come here. I never worry about them taking advantage of me when it comes to paying stuff out of pocket.

I don't really write reviews but since I've been seeing Dr.Chan since I was in elementary ,and now I'm off to college I wanted to give her a shout out and to let everyone know she's a great dentist! I plan to come back on my time off from school in between semesters. All the assistants been really cool! I definitely would recommend bringing your kids here.
