Kendra is beyond excited to be the new owner of Truckee Massage! She has nine years of experience under her belt and many more to learn and grow from. It is an honor for her to be a part of the Truckee Massage team and is humbled to have a role as the leader of this business. She mixes a variety of slow, intentional techniques, done in a way to induce relaxation and also relieve chronic pain and tension.
She enjoys using trigger points, range of motion, and intuition to provide gentle or deep bodywork. After growing up in North Lake Tahoe, she continued to CU Boulder for a BA in Anthropology and traveled the world before settling down to eventually become a massage therapist back in her beautiful home.

Essential Oils + $15 (choose 1-2 doTERRA oils of your choice placed along back of spine, temples, chest and/or bottom of feet). Sunburn Savior: + $10 a homemade remedy created by the owner found to immensely help sunburns recover fast and help prevent future pealing and pain. We are doing a trial run at the office to see if it helps clients and they like it.
You will be able to pay over the phone, when creating one online, or receive a secure email invoice for the gift certificate. Due to the current circumstances, we cannot provide physical copies, but we can have a copy email to you and/or the recipient. Thank you for your understanding. GIFT CERTIFICATE POLICY: We now sell gift certificates by a value amount, not service.
All of our massages are generally a blend of techniques that custom fit the client's needs. However, certain therapists will be able to focus more on specific styles if you prefer. These are some examples:. Two people are more than welcome to come in together to receive a massage at the same time, however please specify if you'd like to be in the same room or not.

Trent was AWESOME! I booked a massage for my Dad, who is the hardest person to please because he likes a deep tissue massage and doesn't always get the needful. But I was so pleased he lucked out with Trent, who was very intuitive and knew exactly where to focus to relieve the aches and pains my Dad might not have even pointed out! They had a great convo as well and Dad left feeling rejuvenated in both body and mind. Thanks for a wonderful experience Trent! Wish we lived closer so we could go again!

Thank you yelp and thank you Nicole. In Truckee for a few days, I found Truckee Massage and Wellness Center through Yelp reviews, made an appointment and couldn't have had a better experience. Nicole was empathetic and professional, helping to melt away stress with 45 minutes of reflexology. If I find myself back in Truckee, I'll be back at Truckee Massage.

I was in town for a work event and didn't want to pay resort prices for a massage. Yelp led me to Truckee Massage and I was pleased with the reviews and prices. I booked a 75 minute hot stone massage with Nicole. It was an amazing experience. She gave an overview of the massage and made me feel so comfortable. I hope to be in the area more just to visit again.

Wonderful experience and I will definitely be back. Reached out Saturday morning and got a quick call back. They got me in that same day, and the quality of the massage was fantastic (Thanks Julie!) Almost equally important was the quality of the facilities. Clean, spacious, nicely appointed, and nice aromatherapy.

Had my third massage by Kendra (I have one each time I visit my home in Truckee) and I have to say she has magical fingers. I've unfortunately had back surgery and spinal fusion so suffice it to say I have my share of back "troubles". Kendra hits all the right places and stretches my muscles in the right way to bring me real relief from pain and stiffness. I have never encountered a better masseuse.
