Dina was born in Chicago to immigrant parents from Sicily. As a youngster she moved to Shiny Las Vegas! Her parents had the hopes of opening Pizzeria's and not shoveling snow. Villa Roma quickly became a family business, and she began to work there at the ripe age of 7. Later she went on to graduate with a Bachelors degree in Psychology at UNLV, but always remained in the restaurant business.
Hi; it's Dina! I was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised by immigrant parents from Sicily. When I was 4 we moved to shiny Las Vegas and opened Pizzeria's. Once I turned 7 I started working at Villa Roma and joined my brother and sister cooking in the kitchen. When I was 22, after earning a Bachelors in Psychology from UNLV, I began working at The Mirage Hotel.
We are now offering complimentary buffet-styled tastings! Our in-house caterer, Z Catering, specializes in many genres of food including: Traditional, Italian, Mexican & BBQ. We also offer high-end Steak & Seafood options as well as brunch/lunch options. Please book your tasting based on the cuisine you're interested in for your upcoming event.

Honestly pretty disappointed. We had let the venue know in advance we would be attending the open house on 12/8. We got there at 4:50 and walked in through the outside area, grabbed a packet with package details, and there was a sign telling us to look around and someone would be with us shortly to give us a tour. We walked the outside and waited for 10 mins and then went inside and looked around and still didn't see anyone so we went back outside. After 20 mins of not seeing anyone, we went back inside and saw two people standing behind the bar area. They didn't get up and greet us,

We are so happy we decided to have our wedding at the Cottage! Dina and Alexis made sure the day went smoothly, ran on time and that my husband and I didn’t have to worry about any of the details! So many of our guests said it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to! The food was also phenomenal - our favorites were the Chianti braised beef and the rosè pasta!

We attended the breakfast with Santa fundraising event at the Cottage. It's a very quaint venue. It seems like it would make a very nice location for a wedding.
Based on everything on it's current condition it seems like it might get a bit warm in the AZ summer heat. There were floor fans and a couple small Mobile AC units spread around so they are working with what they have.
My only complaint was the door height going in and out to the patio. They added some wood vinyl flooring and it made the doors about 6ft clearance. I had to crouch to get through and not knock my head. They should add some

Dina has a real heart for this avenue of work! She loves what she does and it shows in each detail. The Cottages are by far the cutest, most romantic and secluded venue! (without you even realizing it is because it's on a major street). She can customize just about everything you have in mind for your event, and her top goal is to make sure your special day is not interrupted by ANYTHING. We cannot say enough wonderful things about our wedding at The Cottage. Dina and her crew brought our vision to life and our day truly felt like a fairytale! We used her recommended vendors and couldn’t have been happier with our decision. The food (lemon chicken and Mac and cheese) was a huge hit as well! You won’t be disappointed in choosing this venue!

Did I mention the affordability of this venue? It was so difficult for us to stay below a $10,000 budget when looking at the other venue options in the valley area. We met with Dina. We did the open house and met many vendors. We elected to keep most of the services in house using the florist who was great, the cake baker was great, the minister April also did a great job. We did a food tasting to select our menu and it was great and one of the only flaws. We got the backup staff on our wedding day and the chicken picata was awful and tough and tasted nothing like the sample. Many of our guests said the same. The bartender wore a sweatshirt and Jeans while our server wore yoga pants. Easily could have been a 5 but just missed so I have to go 4 stars. It was

Fantastic Venue with Magnificent Charm.
In a COVID environment, if you need a small venue that lacks nothing in charm, this might just be the place for you. We attended a small wedding that felt large because of this venue.

Dina and Kailey are AMAZING! They communicate so well and everything was perfect. The vision for our perfect day was SPOT ON! I couldn't have asked for anything more. The DJ, florist and photographer included in our package were everything we could have wanted and more. If you are looking for a low key but also classy wedding this is the place to go (and affordable) all of our guests have said this was the best wedding they have been to, and I believe them!

This place is AMAZING! We were looking for a more affordable venue and they definitely came through! We chose the brunch wedding package and it was so perfect for us! Everything from the food to the decor to the customer service was just spot on. I am so happy we chose them for our wedding! Dina (owner) is the sweetest and most helpful person, and her banquet manager Kailey is just as wonderful! You will NOT regret choosing them for your wedding or other special event!

Dina and her lovely ladies couldn't have made my baby shower any more beautiful! The venue was absolutely stunning and perfect for our special event. The food was outstanding and the "Momosa" bar was definitely a hit! I got many compliments about the baby shower and how spectacular it turned out! By far an exceptional venue! Having worked in events previously I knew this would be a the ideal spot for my baby shower. Phenomenal service, perfect location with classy décor and mouth watering food. We've utilized their catering on many occasions previously and are ecstatic with their new venue. They made our day extra special with little touches and sincerity of service. I'll certainly continue to recommend them.

We loved everything about our wedding at The Cottage. The venue allows you to have a wedding on a budget without sacrificing quality. Dina's food was amazing and we had so many compliments from our guests (there was nothing left at the end). The venue overall was beautiful at night with all of the decorations and lights. We used their recommended Photographer, Florist, Officiant and Pastry Chef. They all did a wonderful job. The ability to bring your own alcohol was a plus and our bartender was perfect. My wife and I couldn't be more pleased! From our first conversation with Dina at an open house she held, we knew we had found our venue. Not only was the property beautiful, the staff was amazing and the price was more than fair. They have packages for literally every wedding and every budget. After touring 12 venues, we decided on The Cottage for our June wedding. Dina and her staff have been super friendly and helpful. We have visited the venue 3 times, and every time it gets better. They have added so many special touches that are usually an extra charge (such as yard games and photo props). Dina is the only person that actually worked with our budget. Every other place said they would, and then proceeded to go well over it. So far, we are very impressed and excited for our guests to experience this amazing new venue.

Gorgeous new venue in the heart of Gilbert. If you want an amazing wedding for half the price and stress, you need to check it out!
