Our goal is to provide professional and affordable landscape maintenance service to both commercial and residential customers. Don Crawford Landscaping specializes in all aspects of lawn maintenance. We specialize in servicing various property sizes from medium size yards to large exclusive estate properties and commercial market accounts.
Hydro seeding is a grass planting process that has been used on everything from highways to residential lawns. The process is fast, simple, economical, and efficient. The hydro seeding process starts by mixing cellulose fiber mulch, grass seed, fertilizer and water in a tank to be mixed and pumped by a machine.
Fertilizer: Nitrogen, potassium, and phosphorus are the macro-nutrients your lawn needs just as proteins, carbohydrates, and fats are what your body needs. This spring fertilizer will give your lawn the necessary nutrition to green up and build a strong root system for the coming year. Crabgrass: Even though we applied a crabgrass preventer during step #1, our job is never done.
Thatch is a layer of grass stems, roots, clippings, and debris that settle on the ground and either slowly decompose or accumulate over time. Thatch buildup is commonly found where grass has grown tall, mulch is frequently left, and lawns have never been aerated. Thatch is most common in warm weather.
