GO TO DEER PARK VET.
I'd give zero stars if I could. They would not see my sick dog, who was actively throwing up and shaking outside of their facility. They offered an "after hours" appointment with the clear intent to try to get me to wait 2 hours and pay the $275 "after hours" fee. Truly despicable behavior, beyond unprofessional. I will NEVER trust these people with my dogs. I wouldn't trust them with a pair of scissors. The incompetence is astonishing.

My dogs weigh 130 and 140 lbs, the largest tick pill they have is for 120 lbs,The price for the 120 lb pill is $73. I was quoted a price to add a smaller pill for both dogs would be about $40 more( not for each, but both together) but the price ended up being $140 more for both. They charge $70 for the smaller pill.so for tick treatment for a 120 lb dog is $73 and for a 10 lb dog it's $70. And for a 130 lb dog it's $143!!! Edit: try pet savers for a reasonable price. They also split the price of the smaller pill to add to the larger pill for both dogs.

I would NOT use Chewelah Vet for any of your large animals/livestock. We had Dr. Adams come out to care for a horse we believed was in colic, she provided NO comfort for the horse and acted like she was scared of the mare. The horse stayed in horrible pain for several hours until we finally had to put her down ourselves through the night. Was a heartbreaking experience all because the vet was inexperienced with horses and said she had “stomach ulcers” when we found out is was a severe case of laminitis and an experienced vet with horse knowledge would of known that just by watching this poor

Poor quality, high prices for not an outstanding job. I have made the change to deer park Veterinary clinic. Where it is half the price with 10 times the service. Very unhappy with the vet, and services they provide. I've been back to chewelah just for the convenience and every time I go back I realize why I changed vets. If you care about your animals and want to havea great experience I would not recommend chewelah

I am beyond impressed and so appreciative of the customer service I have received today. We don't really have a regular vet but today we had an emergency with my oldest dog. I called, was told to bring her up and felt comfortable leaving her. I know she is in great hands. I will bring my animals here from now on. 💕

I have been taking my dogs to this clinic for 6 years and have been very happy with the medical expertise and the treatment. This morning I called to make an appointment to get a rabies vaccination for one dog, and I was told that beginning this week their policy is that you 'drop your dog off for a general time to be seen.' I live two and a half hours away from this clinic and have to drive over a mountain pass (always unpredictable in winter) to get there. That's a 5 hr (in good weather) rd trip. Now they're telling me I have to drop the dog off between 10 and 12, so that it can be seen and be

Had a surprise welp in Costco parking lot. Chewelah staff opened up office at 10:30 pm and by midnight we had two beautify little ladies and mom all healthy. Don’t often see/work with professionals as great as these in an emergency. Incredibly caring and thorough, made sure we knew and understand what was going on. Great professional women who confidently did their professional work. Highly recommend this clinic. Well done, Dr. Jessie, Assistant Becky and Vet Tech JJ.
