Imagine what your mouth would feel like if you never brushed your teeth or went to the dentist. For many dogs and cats, this is a painful reality. When we need to figure out what's wrong with your pet, we routinely use x-rays to help identify the cause of the problem, rule out possible problems, or provide a.
Cryosurgery is a relatively painless surgical procedure that uses extremely cold temperatures to remove or destroy small growths on the skin. This same procedure is used on people. Spaying your pet has many benefits. The procedure, which prevents female animals from becoming pregnant and reproducing, can help your dog or cat live a longer, healthier life.
We monitor our patients closely to keep them as safe as possible during procedures that require general anesthesia. A veterinary technician will continually assess your pet's heart and respiratory rate, . For some procedures, your pet will need to be administered general anesthesia so that he or she will be unconscious and not feel pain.

We've been taking our pets to this vet since I was ten (I'm 29 now). My dog had a seizure tonight, and when my mom called their emergency line, the first thing they said was "We're actually having our Christmas party tonight." They then suggested she drive an HOUR somewhere else if the seizures continued until ten o'clock tonight (a dangerous game to play), because none of their four vets could be bothered to leave their little party. When my brother was in pre-vet in college, his professor told him "You're a vet first, and everything else second." Maybe these vets need to be reminded of that.

Sad, frustrated, angry... there really are no perfect words to explain the experience I had at Canton Veterinary Clinic today. I had a close family friend refer me to this clinic to get my kitten neutered so I had no hesitation taking my animal here as my friend takes all her pets. Didn’t even think twice! I was thrilled to go in fully trusting. I came out from Dallas and spent what was a very pleasant day touring around Canton waiting for my pet to be ready. Things felt very tense the second I walked into this clinic and spoke to Kelly (she always sounded pleasant on the phone.) As I handed

Front desk clerk must of been having a bad day. On a scale of country neighbors to Dallas downtown apartments she had an attitude of south Dallas.
I wanted to donate 1000mL sterile saline bags, approximately $2,000 worth as well as 10mL individual sterile packaged saline flushes at approximately $500-600.
I have Cystic Fibrosis and my IV medication was ended early. The pharmacy had already mailed out 2 weeks worth of saline hydration and flushes. Since I can't use them, it was recommended to donate to the vet clinic or simply cut the bags open and throw them away. I was trying to donate them

My heart is broken
Today my sister had to put her dog down after, getting a second opinion for her diagnosis of (pinched nerve and worms). We took sweet Rosie to this vet a year ago, after we noticed her becoming sick and loosing the ability to walk, they gave above diagnosis, and sent us on our way. Today we found out from another vet , that she did in fact have what we thought (cancer), large tumors in her liver and her kidneys. We told them , but they wouldn’t hear. This is also not the first time, that also tried to make me believe my cat was very sick with an “old” eye problems, when

I am so thankful I found this clinic. It was recommended to me and I am glad I took their advice. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use them long because we lost our older dog to a brain tumor. They showed so much care and explained everything to us. They gave us all of the information we needed to make the best choice for our sweet Maddie. Not thinking about another pet just yet but when we do Canton Vet Clinic is definitely where we will take them.

My German Shepard got impaled in the top of the leg by a gate post that was laying sideways in tall grass. This is the only vet that provided a timely response and kept our girl from dying. They were quick to see her after hours and got her stabilized and fixed back up quickly. They also provided her with after hours care and went above and beyond removing some of the mats from behind her ear while she was asleep. I was planning on having to spend a minimum of 1000 dollars for the visit and it didn't even cost me that. We will now be long time customers and have them treat all of our pets and livestock

Our 16 year old mutt became very ill. We must moved here and went to this office. In spite of not knowing us, Dr. Amanda Armstrong spent about 30 minutes with us, gave us some meds to try, and told us to call the emergency number that night if things weren't well. We had to do that and she called back right away. We ended up having to put him down the next day, but she and assistant (also Amada) were very passionate and patient with us doing this. Thank you to both Amandas.

My bulldog puppy developed Cherry eye at 11 weeks. I made the three hour drive from Fort Hood to see Dr. Eberhart, and it was very much worth the trip. On the advice of my Dallas Bulldog breeder we opted for removal, not a tuck. Dr. Eberhart is her vet abd is very trusted. The procedure was extremely fast, my puppy was great afterwards. I was provided with everything I needed for the trip home in case there was bleeding. The vet phoned me to discuss everything before starting as we waited in the car due to the virus.
Such a nice clinic, doctor, and staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful

I brought my dog here after she had been gored by a hog. They took great care of her and she stayed for several hours. When I picked her up, and received meds and the bill, I not only received a happy go lucky pup, but a job well done and a very affordable bill. No charge for the follow up and no problems to boot. We use this vet always now. They're awesome! going on 2 years now.

I absolutely hate taking my dogs to the vet. Recently I had to take my oldest dog here after she was attacked and had to leave her overnight. They did what they could and I took her home the next day with meds and care instructions. I had to go out of town and ended up having them board my dog less than a week later. I have never had to leave my dog anywhere and I was worried sick about having to leave her here after all she had been through. I was worried she would feel like we were abandoning her here since this would be the 2nd time we would be leaving her here at the vet but when I arrived
