We have several staff members who have been with us since Dr. Yant arrived in 1992 - 20+ year veterans in the dental field.
Dr. Yant has been practicing dentistry since 1992. He received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Michigan State University in 1988 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 1992. Dr. Yant has completed extensive hours of continuing education over the years, accomplishing courses in advanced dentistry at The Dawson Academy and the University of Pittsburgh.

I have been dealing with TMJ for past 35 years and have seen numerous dentist in metropolitan areas where one would think that you'd be more apt to find a clinician who could accurately treat your issue. I've had a nightguard since my teens and all were apparently constructed the wrong way therefore continuing to trigger my teeth grinding when I fall asleep. It was Dr. Yangt, in this very rural practice that accurately assesed the shortcomings of my night guard appliance and instead of trying to sell me a new appliance (just bought one in May) or ,more botox (I did get some and it was very helpful

We were in town with family at the lake for vacation. My daughter wore to her braces came out of her bracket so we called into this office to see if we could run in to have it fixed. The lady I spoke to on the phone said they were completely booked for the whole week and couldn’t even sneak her in for a 5 second job. We explained we would rather not cut the wire since it was Tuesday and we would be there until Friday. She refused to even try to sneak us in. Clean, aesthetically pleasing office, easy parking, and wonderful staff! The front desk person was very nice, my wait was short, my dentist (Dr. Allen) was very knowledgeable, clear, transparent, patient, gentle, friendly, and conversational. All I could ask for! Her assistant who did my x rays was friendly and attentive. The hygienist, Amanda, was warm and had a lovely energy. She was also gentle and effective while cleaning my teeth-- no pain. They were also easygoing about my request to get a CD with my x-rays on it. I'm so glad to have found this dental group and I now have a higher standard

Everyone at this office was professional and friendly. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted and put at ease(I was a wee bit nervous). Every staff member I spoke to made me feel comfortable. I wish I could remember each name of the staff I spoke with as to thank them. Dr Allen was kind and gentle, she throughly explained each and every step of the exam. The dental assistant that worked with her was amazing. Amanda did an excellent job cleaning my teeth and was so sweet. The atmosphere is comfortable and friendly, you can tell the staff work well together and like and respect each other
