Back in the mid-nineties, I took a rare break from my non-profit work and tried a snowboarding lesson on the slopes of the Rocky Mountains, with who turned out to be my life and business partner. What resulted was an immediate love affair with my husband, Roland, and the Rocky Mountains (but I will never get on a snowboard again!).
I cannot speak highly enough about Kim and the photos she shot for our engagement photos and wedding! She is fun, professional, creative, and dependable. We are so happy that we didn't skimp on photography as Kim is definitely worth the investment! Imagine your 10 year anniversary, you are sitting with your children enjoying your wedding album. Now picture your 25th anniversary party and you have displayed your wedding images on the wall. Go forward to your 50th anniversary, you are celebrating with your family and your grandchildren cannot believe how young you look!
Because they are fun! Most grooms might disagree with me, but by the end of a session at our studio, they usually admit that "it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be - it actually was fun!" I love these portrait sessions as it is a great opportunity to have you as a couple interact and capture those natural moments when you are more relaxed.
In 20 years, the music from your wedding will have faded. The yummy appetizers will be a memory. And you probably won't fit into your dress. But you will still have your wedding images. And you will cherish them more as you get older and move through your life. Your kids will love your images, your parents will have them up on their walls, and they will bring you back to a wonderful day in your life.

I don't normally like having photos taken of myself but was not happy with photos needed for work from a different photographer so went to see Kim for a retake and had a great experience, was made to feel at ease and thus photos came out looking much better and more natural, highly recommend

Kim and Roland helped me with the Google Tour and I can't compliment them enough for the professionalism and effectiveness of their work. Not only did the shoot go easier and better than I had hoped, it was also effective at getting attention for my web site.
I can't emphasize enough how easy and pleasurable it was to work with them. Responsive to my questions and concerns and helpful to boot.

We LOVE the pictures! Kim gave us plenty of choices on where and when to take the pictures, and worked directly with my high school senior to make sure she got exactly what she was looking for in her senior photos. As a parent, the hardest part is choosing which photos to send to grandparents and family for presents for the holidays. We are still working on choosing, and Kim is making it easy by offering various times to meet and different packages, but it is still so hard because the pictures are so good! Thank you, Kim!

Kim shot our wedding at Della Terra in 2012 and good night are the pictures fantastic. We now have a little one and are getting ready for our first family shoot soon, so excited to be working with Kim again! Truly believe Kimball Nelson is one of the best. Kim is amazing! Every step along the way Kim was wonderful to work with. From our very first meeting my husband and I felt very comfortable and confident with Kim's capabilities as our wedding photographer! The planning process was streamline and made easy. On the day of our wedding Kim was so professional but also a lot of fun for our bridal party and families to work with! Our pictures are so beautiful! We can't stop looking through them!
