Services
Develop socially by learning to share, take turns, resolve conflicts, solve problems, help others, & cooperate on projects. Our classrooms are well-equipped with classic and fun furnishings that support creative learning. We have a children's library that has over 4000 books and a teacher resource center with additional educational materials to bring into the classroom.
The Morts Curriculum is a kindergarten readiness program focused on writing, phonics, language, reading, math, science, social studies, fine art & music appreciation, sign language, social & emotional development and physical education for early childhood learning.The curriculum encourages your child's natural drive to learn and grow.

ACH is a wonderful school. The teachers are caring and they create a very positive and dynamic learning environment at every age level. I've had my 2 younger children there for the last 5 years and they are well prepared for kindergarten. A Child's Haven Preschool is a great place to be! I have been with the school for 15 years, as a teacher and as the school principal.

We started at A Child’s Haven about a month ago and have been so pleased! Ms. Michelle (director) helped us transition easily, Ms. Cunningham has already taught my preschooler SO much, and Ms. McCamis & Ms. Rosario take such great care of my toddler! All of the teachers are wonderful. I’m very picky about my childcare and am thoroughly impressed!

I am currently a teacher at ACH Private Preschool but I am also a former ACH parent as well. Recently my son’s teacher had asked if we wanted him tested for the gifted program. I was ecstatic to hear she felt as though all aspects of his educational levels are well above average. I immediately had to let Mrs. Michele know of his academic successes because I fully believe that if I had not been given the opportunity to teach at this school, my son would have never gotten the VPK education he received from here. I have seen many different VPK programs in my years and this program is hands down

My daughter attended for 3 years and she loved it! The teachers were very hands. My daughter attended the VPK program as well, where she learned so much during the year. I liked that different activities/workpapers were given if your child was ready to learn more (ex. harder math problems or additional sight words). All in all we had a great experience with this school!

We love this preschool! From the adorable projects they bring home to the hugs and kisses my kids get, they have been fantastic. My kids have learned so much being here and the teachers have been so patient with them. I recommend them all the time. Every teacher is down to earth and my kids love them all. Thanks for doing a great job! Keep up the great work!

A Child's Haven was a really great experience for my daughter who attended for a year prior to VPK as well. She left knowing things that my first who went elsewhere hadn't learned until kindergarten/first grade! The staff is great with kids and the environment welcoming. Even now, mid way through summer, she talks of missing "her" school and wants to go back. We are very grateful for our time and experiences with Child's Haven.

My husband and I have been taking our son here for almost 6 months and the experience has been awesome! When I was younger, I was at the After School program at A Child's Haven and my positive experience helped influence my family's decision to take our son there. The staff is very friendly and we feel very safe with our son in their care. We receive daily progress reports from our son's teachers to let us know how he's developing and what things we can work on at home. Definitely recommend this school and we wouldn't want our son anywhere else.

I was a little scared of changing my boys school, but I have to say, I love the teachers, the education and motor skills both of my children are learning! The school is Very clean and great communication!
A Child's Haven has a great VPK program and I feel this has also help my child get ready for the next big step. Getting the basics of early learning from a school setting is very important.
Could not ask for more loving teachers, always full of smiles and hugs!

My daughter attended A Child's Haven Pre-K program this past year. She absolutely loved going to A Child's Haven every day. Her teachers were amazing and she came home every day so excited to tell us what she had learned. The school is very organized and keeps parents up to date with our child's progress. My daughter was so sad to leave A Child's Haven but is so ready for Kindergarten! I highly recommend this school!!!!!

Apparently it is OK with the owner if a teacher tells a child that she is going to put them in the dumpster and also punch them in the face. I don't know about you but staffing issues should not stand between safety of children and keeping a teacher who admits she said this. After years of having a child there I can only imagine what else has gone on behind our backs and just been swept under the rug. After them refusing to say that they won't put the child back in the classroom with the same teacher.. They have lost our business. Please be aware.

Our middle son came here for pre-k last year and this year we've put my son in for daycare. This is a FANTASTIC childcare facility. My son is 2 and he's learning so much that he probably wouldn't if he were just at home with us. His personality has grown so much. They are also really caring, when Cael was sick they called to be sure he was ok. I appreciate how we've come to know all the teachers and they are all so sweet with the kids.

There were a few hiccups in the beginning with being really discouraged with my daughter not getting the material, but Mrs. Cunningham remained positive and worked with her extra. Layla also loved Mrs. Hanney's class. A Child's Haven has a lot of events for families, too. Mrs. Michele, the principal, is very much on top of everything and is very good with the children. I really wish my daughter could go into their aftercare program, but they don't pick up at my daughter's elementary school. I really feel like we were spoiled at A Child's Haven.
